Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body front structure of automobile capable of suppressing any retraction of a damper housing and reducing the deformation of a vehicle body in an offset collision of a vehicle. SOLUTION: A bead-like locking member having a flange 45 facing a front wall 51a of a front pillar 7 is fitted to the outer side in the vehicle width direction of dashboard upper sides 18, 19. Even when a connection part of the front pillar to the dashboard upper is broken in an offset collision, the flange 45 of the locking member fitted to the dashboard upper is abutted on the front wall of the front pillar to adequately distribute and transmit the collision load. Abstract: The system includes a digital video camera (2) for capturing the rear view image, with the electronic video signal being modified by an electronic circuit (3) and forming an image on an LCD screen (19) fixed to the dashboard. There is an on-board computer (4) which is linked to the camera, communicating with the engine control unit (5). The computer generates real and virtual images of the rear view along with additional vehicular information from the engine control unit, to this screen with a high definition image. All or part of the image can be selected with the additional information alongside it.

Its technological effect is: it solves the driving side structure that the almag was made, with the copilot side structure of steel, can't weld the technical problem who becomes automobile dashboard beam assembly, has both guaranteed automobile dashboard beam assembly's low manufacturing cost, has realized automobile dashboard beam assembly's lightweight again.

Abstract: Developing and evaluating automotive user interfaces and driver assistance systems in real vehicles and in simulators is an effortful and costly process. To reduce the effort in defining and conducting user studies, this demo introduces the concept simulator K3F. K3F is a highly flexible driving simulation environment that allows a quick and easy modification and exchange of its hard- and software components including simulation software, dashboard/infotainment, and peripheral systems. The K3F software supports a convenient setup of user studies and a comprehensive collection of data. It simplifies the creation and modification of virtual environments and the development of real-world street scenarios. The integration of a driver model based on the ACT-R cognitive architecture allows not only the explanation of observed behavior, but also the prediction of human driving patterns.
