Abstract: The method of pre-assembling a motor vehicle dashboard involves attaching a cross bar, to which the instruments etc. have been pre-assembled, to the vehicle chassis. The cross bar is first placed in a frame and support brackets are attached to it. The instruments are then attached to the brackets along with the wiring loom and finally the dashboard proper.

Abstract: The dashboard carrier has a carrier strip (5) extending between the A-pillars (2, 3) of the bodywork. This has an active vibration damping system, comprising a centrifugal vibration unit. This unit is fitted where the steering column is connected to the carrier strip. It has an electric motor (8) with at least one eccentric mass body (9) for positioning inside the unit.

Abstract: The knee protector has at least one hose-shaped airbag (6). The airbag is connected to a cover (5), and is hidden behind it before inflation. The cover is located in an area below the dashboard (2) and/or the glove compartment (3). Both airbag and cover extend over driver and passenger sides, or there may be two different units. The airbags are filled by a gas generator located in the central console (4) area of the vehicle.

Abstract: A vehicle computer system in minimized size, fitted and divided to the vehicle limitation and to the driver comforts, combined from at list two or three parts, at list one, up to two parts of the system located in the vehicle dashboard, wherein, the second or third part of the system, the computerize hardware and softwares sections, are located at the back trunk of the vehicle, and are similar to a home ordinary computers. The part or parts that are at the vehicle passengers vicinity, designated to fit to the dashboard section of a vehicle, including a screen part that is integrated with the user operational section, including at list a keyboard and operational buttons, that are usually located in the ordinary computers container, and at the keyboard and mouse devices in the ordinary computer systems of the existing prior art, enabling several operational functions by the users, by the driver or by the passengers. The part of the computer container containing the hardware and software located at the back cargo section of the vehicle, wired or wireless connected by communications connections to the computer operational panel portion located at the vehicle dashboard section. The computer system support one or more of the applications such as computerized information and data, security, entertainment, navigation, and applications another applications that are at the home computer possibility, at cetera.

In its inflated configuration (A) the bag forms a horizontal figure-of-eight shape with an additional strip of fabric forming a flat bottom surface for the bag. The gas generator (11), the dashboard assembly and the bag are fastened to a strong tubular crossmember (7).
