TL;DR: In this paper, a cover is attached to the dashboard mounting by a flexible tie to prevent being thrown into the face of the passenger when the airbag is operated, and the panel is moulded with the dashboard trim in one operation.
Abstract: The panel is attached to the trim by tags (10) joined to the trim by small bridges of plastics. The tags are outside the opening profile of the panel. The cover is also attached to the dashboard mounting by a flexible tie to prevent being thrown into the face of the passenger when the airbag is operated. The panel is moulded with the dashboard trim in one operation. Simple cuts (11) define the cover and tags. ADVANTAGE - The released panel leaves no protruding tags to damage the expanding airbag and is moulded with the dashboard trim in one operation.

TL;DR: In this article, a front frame is mounted on a wheel apron defining a side wall of an engine compartment formed on the front side of the dashboard panel and extends in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body in the engine compartment.
Abstract: An open cowl type front structure of a vehicle body includes a dashboard panel which defines a part of the open cowl structure. The dashboard panel is provided with a closed cross-section portion extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle body along the open cowl structure. A front frame is mounted on a wheel apron defining a side wall of an engine compartment formed on the front side of the dashboard panel and extends in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body in the engine compartment. A reinforcement connects the closed cross-section portion with the front frame.

TL;DR: A prototype that collects data related to the driver's braking style and makes use of a machine learning model to forward-predict the resulting energy gain is developed, which fosters custom eco-driving behaviour by means of gamified interactions provided on an infotainment dashboard on the car.
Abstract: In the context of behavioral change for a more sustainability mobility, we designed and implemented an in-vehicle human machine interface for electric vehicles, on the basis of an approach we propose that exploits gamification and machine learning techniques. Our main goal is to equip the driver with instant and accurate eco\-driving strategies, obtaining an optimization of the energy consumption. More specifically, we have developed a prototype that collects data related to the driver's braking style and makes use of a machine learning model to forward-predict the resulting energy gain. It then accordingly fosters custom eco-driving behaviour by means of gamified interactions provided on an infotainment dashboard on the car. We have conducted some tests and this paper presents the preliminary and promising results we obtained.

TL;DR: A head up display device for a vehicle includes a housing mounted on a dashboard of the vehicle; a display unit that generates an image or a video; a combiner vertically elevated from the housing; a first cover operated together with the combiner to be opened and closed; a second cover operated with the first cover to be open and closed as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: A head up display device for a vehicle includes: a housing mounted on a dashboard of the vehicle; a display unit that generates an image or a video; a combiner vertically elevated from the housing; a first cover operated together with the combiner to be opened and closed; a second cover operated together with the combiner to be opened and closed; and a mirror that rotates together with the first cover to be opened at the time of opening the first cover to reflect the video provided from the display unit to the combiner.
