TL;DR: In this article, a vehicle body lower structure includes a floor connected to a dashboard panel, extending toward the vehicle rear side, a tunnel provided at a vehicle width direction center portion extending from the dashboard panel through the floor in the vehicle front-rear direction, a dashboard cross member joined to the dashboard panels, spanning between a front end of the tunnel and a vehicle side section.
Abstract: A vehicle body lower structure includes: a floor connected to a dashboard panel, extending toward the vehicle rear side; a tunnel provided at a vehicle width direction center portion extending from the dashboard panel through the floor in the vehicle front-rear direction; a dashboard cross member joined to the dashboard panel, spanning in the vehicle width direction between a front end of the tunnel and a vehicle side section; and an under floor brace provided to a front end portion of the tunnel, extending in the vehicle width direction at the opposite side to the cabin, including both ends extending further toward the vehicle width direction outside than the front end portion of the tunnel and are fixed to the dashboard panel, the ends being located in positions facing vehicle width direction inside ends of the dashboard cross member via the dashboard panel.

TL;DR: In this paper, an information panel for a driver of a vehicle and a storage compartment for storing said panel was proposed. But the panel was not used for the purpose of controlling the steering wheel.
Abstract: The invention relates to an information panel (1) for a driver of a vehicle and a storage compartment (2), for storing said panel. Slidable means of interconnection (3, 4, 5) provides for the possibility of either having the panel (1) stored within said compartment (2) or to have it in an active position outside of said compartment . In this latter position the panel (1) preferrably is supported by the dashboard (8), so that it can be conveniently used by the driver of the vehicle.

TL;DR: In this paper, an evaluation device is used for continuous evaluation of information with a detected operating parameter of the vehicle, where the information describes operating characteristics of a control gear (4), a drive unit (5) and/or a braking system (6) with respect to fuel consumption.
Abstract: The vehicle (1) has an evaluation device (2) for continuous evaluation of information with a detected operating parameter of the vehicle, where the information describes operating characteristics of a control gear (4), a drive unit (5) and/or a braking system (6) with respect to fuel consumption. The evaluation unit outputs the information to a display device (3) e.g. LCD display, that is arranged in an area of a dashboard.

TL;DR: The foundations for an application ecosystem have been developed which, taken together with the fair value for driving data and low barriers to entry, will drive adoption of CloudThink as the standard method for projecting physical vehicles into the cloud.
Abstract: We present a novel approach to developing a vehicle communication platform consisting of a low-cost, open-source hardware for moving vehicle data to a secure server, a Web Application Programming Interface (API) for the provision of third-party services, and an intuitive user dashboard for access control and service distribution. The CloudThink infrastructure promotes the commoditization of vehicle telematics data by facilitating easier, flexible, and more secure access. It enables drivers to confidently share their vehicle information across multiple applications to improve the transportation experience for all stakeholders, as well as to potentially monetize their data. The foundations for an application ecosystem have been developed which, taken together with the fair value for driving data and low barriers to entry, will drive adoption of CloudThink as the standard method for projecting physical vehicles into the cloud. The application space initially consists of a few fundamental and importan...

TL;DR: The research focus on unifying the Global Positioning system with embedded wireless system is the new approaches in intelligent vehicle control for critical remote location application using ARM to operate the vehicle in safe speed at critical zones.
Abstract: The research focus on unifying the Global Positioning system with embedded wireless system is the new approaches in intelligent vehicle control for critical remote location application using ARM. In conventional system they are designed to control the speed of vehicles in all days. The main objective of the proposed system is to operate the vehicle in safe speed at critical zones. The base station having the transmitter which is designed for Frequency Modulation (FM), the receiver part is implemented in Vehicle. The ARM processor is implemented at receiver side, which receives the critical frequency, then it is activated in critical mode. Speed Control Driver (SCD) can be custom designed to fit into a vehicle's dashboard, and displays information on the vehicle. Once the information is received, it automatically alerts the driver, to reduce the speed according to the time and zone. The novel system is implemented with the support of embedded processor and the simulation is achieved through Keil C software and results are discussed.
