Subassembly for a cockpit

Abstract: A structural assembly for a cockpit of a motor vehicle comprising a crossmember which extends over the width of a vehicle interior and is designed as a supporting structure. The crossmember and a dashboard attached thereto are constructed from a driver's module, a central module and a front passenger's module. The modules are designed so that adjacent modules can be fastened to one another, either both indirectly via an adapter part directly. By an appropriate selection (or elimination) of the adapter parts the crossmember and the dashboard can be adapted to different vehicle widths. When assembled, the crossmember and the dashboard form a pre-assembled, self-supporting reinforcement unit which, when installed in the motor vehicle, reinforces the motor vehicle in the transverse direction.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dashboard for giving a better feeling to an occupant in air-conditioning operation in a room and securing a higher degree of operating environment, and a vehicular air-conditioner installed therein. SOLUTION: The dashboard 20 has a plurality of air outlets through which air is blown toward the room S. It comprise wind direction changing means provided in a defrost air outlet 21 through which air is blown toward a front glass 31 for changing a blowing angle θ. The wind direction changing means is formed as opening shape changing means for changing the opening shape of the defrost air outlet 21. in which a rod rotator 23 with an angular portion C and a round portion B is located on the side of a living space of the room S on the outer periphery portion the defrost air outlet 21 for rotating operation. The system consists of a CAN communication interface unit based on a PIC microcontroller and graphic programmable LCD displays. The work is not only described in terms of technical solution, but also in terms of design.

Abstract: Device for the visual display of operating states, in particular of critical operating states, of a motor vehicle or the like on the windscreen (12) of the latter approximately at the eye level of the driver. For individual adjustment both to the driver and the external conditions, such as light conditions, and for reliable distinguishing at least one light source (22), mountable on the top of the dashboard (16) of the motor vehicle extending approximately horizontally, is provided with a light beam directed against the windscreen (12), the light source (22) being individually adjustable in its intensity or luminosity and/or the direction of the emitted light beam (36).
