Abstract: Often when there is a glare on a display screen the user may be able to mitigate the glare by tilting or otherwise moving the screen or changing their viewing position. However, when driving a car there are limited options for overcoming glares on the dashboard, especially when you are driving for a long distance in the same direction. Embodiments are directed to eliminating such glare. Other embodiments are related to mixed reality (MR) and filling in occluded areas.

Abstract: Dashboard fitting for a car radio has sprung ratches (3) each side of the fitting to grip behind the dashboard bezel (5) and provide a self locking fitting. The radio is pushed into place for automatic locking and is difficult for a thief to remove. The ratchet cams are released by special tools and are normally in a protected setting. They are sprung into the locking action with the insertion of the radio lifting the cams to ride over the rear edge.

Abstract: An instrument bezel for an automobile facilitates the addition of supplemental instruments to a vehicle while maintaining a clear and unobstructed view of the road for the driver without placing the supplemental instruments in a location that would make reading these instruments awkward and unsafe. The present instrument bezel is shaped to surround the dashboard of the automobile and replace an original instrument panel or dashboard bezel of the automobile. In one embodiment, the present instrument bezel includes integral pods or mounts on the bottom corners for retaining the supplemental instruments. The present instrument bezel may be made of fiberglass, carbon fiber, plastic, metal, or the like.
