TL;DR: In this paper, a fixing device for vehicle instruments mounted in a housing which slides into a carrier into which it is fixed is applicable to combination units inserted in dashboard sections with foam plastics coverings, enabling the combination unit to be easily inserted and fixed when the carrier body is not exactly aligned with the opening as a result of the application of the foam plastics.
Abstract: A fixing device esp. for vehicle instruments mounted in a housing which slides into a carrier into which it is fixed is applicable to combination units inserted in dashboard sections with foam plastics coverings. It enables the combination unit to be easily inserted and fixed when the carrier body is not exactly aligned with the opening as a result of the application of the foam plastics. A gap is left between the parts to be fixed together. Elastic clips are attached to one of each two pairs of parts to be fixed together and engage receiving recesses in the other part. The combination instrument unit housing has the recesses on its out surfaces. The clips are fixed to the carrier body.

TL;DR: In this paper, a flat screen display unit is used to display information useful for the driver in the dashboard of a vehicle, which can be vertically moved into a completely visible position as used for a navigation system or into a partially hidden position showing information of smaller size.
Abstract: The standard dashboard (1) of a vehicle is equipped with several indication lamps, instruments, and devices such as a speedometer (3), an air inlet (5,6), or a radio. A more up to date dashboard (1) is additionally fitted with a display unit (7) showing some information useful for the driver. The new design of a display device comes in the shape of a flat screen (7) and can be vertically moved (8) into a completely visible position as used for a navigation system or into a partly hidden position showing information of a smaller size.

TL;DR: In this paper, a vehicle has a data display device (2) connected to a supply and control system (3), the device has a flexible membranous flat screen (4) e.g. organic LED screen, for supporting reversible deformations.
Abstract: The vehicle has a data display device (2) connected to a supply and control system (3). The device has a flexible membranous flat screen (4) e.g. organic LED screen, for supporting reversible deformations. The screen is of less thickness and is plated at the level of a curved part of a dashboard. The screen`s edge is integrated on a support (10) to roll the screen around the support, in a storage position, mounted in a protecting case. The support is slightly rotated around its longitudinal axis when the screen is in its utilization position. The support is rotated outside housing at an angle of about 90 degrees with respect to a longitudinal direction of an armrest.
