TL;DR: In this article, a formal BI with Design Thinking, Rational Unified Process, using ISO 25012 to evaluate and categorize the BI indicators, also the functional and non-functional requirements.
Abstract: Business Intelligence (BI) is a term that gained popularity in recent years, with other concepts coming along, such as Data Warehouse, Data Mart, Data Deluge, Data Quality, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load). The increase of the competitiveness and wildness among organizations in the current market and business intensifies the need of those organizations to have and hold key information about their issues. This gathering and analysis will keep the stakeholders always informed about their products. This paper fills the gap of a formal Business Intelligence with principles of Design Thinking, Rational Unified Process, using ISO 25012 to evaluate and categorize the BI indicators, also the functional and non-functional requirements.

TL;DR: A data mart (DM) is the access layer of the data warehouse (DW) environment that is used to get data out to the users, usually oriented to a specific business line or team.
Abstract: As information systems and technology continue to revolutionize the healthcare delivery process, wealth of electronic data are becoming more available and more accessible for analytical purposes. The virtual explosion in data warehousing in many industries, including healthcare, underscores the increased recognition of the potential value of corporate data for purposes of improving managerial decision making. Recently, there has been a realization that enterprise wide data warehousing projects can be daunting and are often fraught with potential budget and timeline overruns. A more pragmatic approach of creating smaller, departmental data marts to address specific business processes or problems has gained popularity in practice. A database, or collection of databases, designed to help managers make strategic decisions about their business. Whereas a data warehouse combines databases across an entire enterprise, data marts are usually smaller and focus on a particular subject or department. Some data marts, called dependent data marts, are subsets of larger data warehouses. In other words a data mart (DM) is the access layer of the data warehouse (DW) environment that is used to get data out to the users. The DM is a subset of the DW, usually oriented to a specific business line or team.

TL;DR: In this article, a data mart is established by a series of basic data, such as user consumption data and power grid operation data through different data analysis and mining means, and various application modules are provided with application data.
Abstract: The invention discloses a method for establishing a data mart for an intelligent power distribution and consumption big data application system. A data mart is established by a series of basic data, such as user consumption data and power grid operation data through different data analysis and mining means, and various application modules are provided with application data. The data mart carries out data acquisition, data storage, data cleaning and data analysis on the basis of data processing as the core, and the target of visual presentation of a data analysis result is finally achieved, sothat high-speed query and retrieval of the big data application system on the data are achieved.

TL;DR: The Dynamic Data Mart architecture is built around 6 main functions, namely the 3Ms (Data Mining, Data Marshalling and Data Meshing) and the 3Rs (Recommendation, Reconciliation and Representation), which will address the aforementioned problems.
Abstract: Companies today have several major issues while managing information. Many subsidiaries and departments have developed their own Data Management which has led to a multitude of Operational Databases and sometimes a multitude of Data Marts, policies and processes. Thus, these systems lack sustainability because they are not dynamic and not self-organizing, and so they do not adapt to the continuous needs arising from evolution that the companies experience. The Dynamic Data Mart architecture is built around 6 main functions, namely the 3Ms (Data Mining, Data Marshalling and Data Meshing) and the 3Rs (Recommendation, Reconciliation and Representation), which will address the aforementioned problems. Once the totality of the data have been loaded into a single Data Warehouse, the Dynamics Data Marts address these problems by mining the user’s behavior and the user’s decision making processes and continuously and automatically adapting the Data Mart to the needs of the users. Dynamic Data Marts create adapted dimensions, facts, data associations and views and then automatically find the ones that are not used anymore. These latter are then automatically dropped by the system, or can be presented to the IT manager if needed for validation of their removal.
