Abstract: Objective: A purpose of this study was developing the Decision-Support Patient affairs management and building of Data-mart for individually specified department Because it had a OLTP system where we were researching the hospital It can not be analyzied variously because the data for the management, accounts, patient affairs and medical record were changing monthly/annually in conditions also it can not have the specificity of the hospital management information Methods: The Data Set that used for analysis process was examined with the patient's Database for a year They were in hospital where locates in Sun Cheon For developing patient affairs management program, The Microsoft Visual Basic 60 was used and A analysis method of ROLAP which is based on Oracle relation Database was used for general analysis of required works Results: The patient affairs Data-mart and Decision-Support System was built with the main results of the study Those took advantage of the analysis for the each department's revenue and doctor's actual results, it also can compare the patient's hospital using frequency With the analyzied results, each department can have their own special marketing They can offer to the resistants a lecture, consultant and free service for the health Conclusion: The management, the accounts, patient affairs and the medical record can have been analyzied various changing through the study The host System had enormous volume, so it takes lots of times what they want to inquire The host system usually took at night because of low transaction occurrence The new system which was built with Data-mart had been improved the problem a lot

Abstract: Data warehouses are now widely used for analysis and decision support purposes. The availability of software solutions, which are more and more user-friendly and easy to manipulate has made it possible to extend their use to end users who are not specialists in the field of business intelligence. The purpose of this article is to provide an approach that assists non-expert users in the data warehouse design process and integrates their contextual data. As well as to provide a method that assists non-expert users in data warehouse design process while incorporating their contextual data. Our proposal consists of a context model and a comprehensive Data Warehouse construction method that attaches the context to data warehouses and uses it to produce customized data marts adapted to the decision makers context.

Abstract: When organizing automated data collection in a data warehouse under the conditions of increasing data volume and complicating the business model of an enterprise, an information system data model control becomes one of the priority tasks. The article discusses a method of metadata repository developing in terms of metadata responsible for describing business objects and the relationships between them. The choice of "Data vault" determines the construction of a data warehouse within the framework of an information system based on the classical design approach with a 3-level data presentation architecture, which includes a data preparation area, or an online data warehouse, data warehouse and thematic data marts. The proposed approach allows organizing data storage within the data warehouse using a metadata repository based on the multidimensional organization principle. The metadata repository is responsible for the data collection process, the data storage process, and the presentation of data for analysis. The metadata repository is presented in the form of a metamodel that is semantically related to the domain of the system, is easily reconstructed in case of changes in the business model of the domain, and allows data marts to be created with the structure of a multidimensional data model based on the Star relational scheme. This allows you to organize the human-computer interaction when describing a metamodel, using mainly knowledge about the structure of the subject area. When describing a metamodel, the first-order predicate calculus language is used, which makes it possible to control the metamodel using a declarative programming style - the "Prolog" language. The key point in the structure of the information system is the way of transition from the "Data vault" model to a multidimensional data representation model based on associative rules of dependence between information objects.

Abstract: A university as an academic organizations requires a complete, rapid and accurate information to support the process and planning activities, evaluating, and making the right decision. Data is collected and abstracted from various operational data scattered in a variety of academic applications. This study examines the design of data warehouse that are the result of data integration and abstraction from various academic applications that accommodate the needs of history and archiving data to support executive information systems in the academic field. Identification of the executive reports use reference of the program accreditation forms, AMAI UGM questionnaires, FT UGM Dean�s annual reports, self-evaluation forms of Competitive Grant Program, features of the existing SIE UGM, and features of executive data on the UGM academic administration website. The subject of this research is student data based on chronological stages starting from candidates selection process, new students and students during lectures. The success of data warehouse design is determined by the right description of the business events, data completeness and validity, data mart design using metrics bus architecture, star schema design and ETL process to integrate, extract, cleanse, transform and load it into the data warehouse. In this thesis, researcher examined the data warehouse using static and adhoc reporting that can accommodate the needs of executives. In addition, the researchers suggest the existence of an integrated policy for the uniformity of data formats in a variety of academic applications. the need for completeness and validity of data will be determined by the discipline of users in updating the data correctly and regularly.
