TL;DR: In this paper, a technique for providing a partial memory of one half of the possible storage bits comprised of any two quadrants is implemented by decoupling the one of four decoder used for normal operation and providing a programmable decoder which is capable of being programmed to select one or more quadrants.
Abstract: A technique for providing a partial memory of one half of the possible storage bits comprised of any two quadrants is implemented by decoupling the one of four decoder used for normal operation and providing a programmable decoder which is capable of being programmed to select one of any two quadrants. If only one quadrant is to form the partial memory, the programmable decoder can be programmed to select only one latch. In another embodiment, a decoder is provided which can also be programmed to select one of any three quadrants.

TL;DR: In this paper, the conditions for exact disturbance decoupling due to Wonham and Morse for a reduced order system were shown to be the same as those for additive decoupled systems.
Abstract: Asymptotic disturbance decoupling (ADD), a concept which is suitable for the study of the effects of high gain feedback on disturbance decoupling, is introduced in this note. We show that the conditions for ADD are the conditions for exact disturbance decoupling due to Wonham and Morse for a reduced order system.

TL;DR: In this paper, a fusible link couples each side of the heating element to the power supply, and a normally open switch responsive to current in the ground path switches a relatively low resistance shunt current path across the heating elements when the ground current exceeds a predetermined threshold level.
Abstract: A protective circuit arrangement for sheathed heating elements which interrupts ground fault conditions by effectively decoupling the power line from the heating element regardless of the polarity of the power supply connections. A fusible link couples each side of the heating element to the power supply. A normally open switch responsive to current in the ground path switches a relatively low resistance shunt current path across the heating element when the ground current exceeds a predetermined threshold level. Closure of the shunt path enables sufficient current to flow in the power supply lines to actuate the fusible links. Circuit parameters are selected such that the current in the fusible link coupled to the hot power line is sufficiently greater than that in the fusible link coupled to the neutral line to cause the hot power line fusible link to be actuated first, thereby interrupting the fault condition and decoupling the hot power line from the heating element.

TL;DR: The solution presented here uses as key tools the so called regular controllability distributions, introduced in [14], and completely fits in the systematic work on the generalization of the geometric approach to linear systems.
Abstract: sequentially, i.e. Cl controls zI, possibly changing the values ~2, . . , zp. then Liz controls ZZ, possibly changing the values of ~3, . . , zp, with the requirement that z1 be left unaffected and so forth, with d, controlling zp without influencing zl, . . , zp_, (‘here the Li, are vectors such that ul, . . . , u,) = (cl, . . . 6,)). For linear systems the -triangular Decoupling Problem has been solved completely, sed [3, 11, 12,211. In the solution we present here we use as key tools the so called regular controllability distributions, introduced in [14]. In this way our approach completely fits in the systematic work on the generalization of the geometric approach to linear systems, see e.g. [6-10, 13-181. Note that in the T.D.P. the partial decoupling of the outputs is weaker than achieving complete dynamic interacting, which for a special case-the Restricted Decoupling Problem-has been solved in [16].

TL;DR: In this paper, a nonvolatile memory and method was described incorporating an array of variable threshold transistors, a row decoder, a buffer circuit positioned between the array and row decode circuitry, column decode circuitry and a sense amplifier.
Abstract: A non-volatile memory and method is described incorporating an array of variable threshold transistors, a row decoder, a buffer circuit positioned between the array and row decode circuitry, column decode circuitry, and a sense amplifier. The non-volatile memory overcomes the problem of high voltages in the memory array during READ operation. During READ operation the variable threshold transistors operate in the common source mode. A buffer circuit with level shift capability is described incorporating P and N channel transistors. A sense amplifier with decoupling during sensing or lock out is described incorporating P and N channel transistors.

TL;DR: In this article, an improved airframe body decoupling system for a body gimballed sensor on an interceptor aircraft or guided missile is presented, where the true measure of sensor position is differentiated and then externally decoupled to produce the desired line of sight rate for use by the guidance/control section of the proportional navigation guidance system.
Abstract: An improved airframe body decoupling system for a body gimballed sensor on an interceptor aircraft or guided missile. Body rate gyro information is employed for internal decoupling so as to eliminate decoupling match sensitivity to receiver errors. The true measure of sensor position from the gimballed antenna potentiometer is differentiated and then externally decoupled to produce the desired line-of-sight rate for use by the guidance/control section of the proportional navigation guidance system.

TL;DR: In this paper, the problem of designing a linear state feedback controller for single-input single-output decoupling of linear multivariable 2D (two-dimensional) systems is discussed.
Abstract: The problem of designing a linear state feedback controller for single-input single-output decoupling of linear multivariable 2-D (two-dimensional) systems is discussed. A method is presented for the determination of the decoupling controller matrices which, when applied to the open-loop system, yield a closed-loop system whose transfer function matrix is diagonal and nonsingular. Necessary and sufficient conditions are established for the state feedback decoupling problem to have a solution. Two examples are included to illustrate the proposed decoupling method.

Abstract: The 13C-NMR. spectra of one natural and ten semi-synthetic cannabinoids were analyzed in detail. Assignments of the signals are based on their chemical shifts, splitting patterns in 1H-off-resonance decoupling experiments and comparison with 13C-NMR. data of related cannabinoids. With some compounds final assignments were made by selective 1H-decoupling experiments and incremental calculations.

Abstract: A multiple pin electrical plug and socket has a fixed part (10) mounted in a wall (W) and a decouplable part (11). The decouplable part 11 is engaged by a lever (12) which can effect initial decoupling and final coupling and can support the decouplable part at pads (16) engaging flats (17) when initially decoupled. The lever (12) is gravity supported on pivots (13) and can be lifted away from the coupling so that a complete decoupling can be effected unimpeded by the lever.

TL;DR: Digital simulations and graphical studies based on the Gershgorin band analysis demon-strate the effectiveness of the approximated decoupling controller as well as the applicability of the generalized pseudo-diagonalization method.
Abstract: An application of approximated decoupling control to a coupled-core nuclear reactor is described, which permits noninteractive regulation of the power level in the individual cores of a reactor that requires to be controlled with account taken of the interference between the cores. The control possesses the advantages of easy design and simple struc-ture of an approximated decoupling controller. The controller is constituted of a precompensator and an output feedback compensator. The control function is ensured with the precompensator playing a key role in approxi-mately diagonalizing an open-loop transfer-function matrix in the frequency range of interest. The precompensator is devised by pseudo-diagonalization, the method being generalized by the authors for application to a wide frequency range.Digital simulations and graphical studies based on the Gershgorin band analysis demon-strate the effectiveness of the approximated decoupling controller as well as the applicability of the generalized pseudo-diagonalization method. Sample results are compared with those obtained by the decoupling theory.
