Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: A general methodology for the preparation of sterically hindered hydroxyaryl derivatives of both phosphorus and silicon is described in this paper, where a trisadduct tris(3,5-di-t-butyl-4-trimethylsilyloxyphenyl(diphenyl)phosphine) is described.

TL;DR: In this paper, a mixture of a metathesis polymerizable monomer (e.g., dicyclopentadiene) reactive solution containing a polymerization catalyst series (PCS) component was used to polymerize a crosslinked polymer molded product in the presence of halogenated phosphorus compounds.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the subject molded product containing a small amount of residual monomers, by mixing a metathesis polymerization catalyst component-containing monomer solution with a polymerization catalyst activating agent-containing monomer solution, pouring the mixture into a mold and polymerizing the poured mixture in the presence of a halogenated phosphorus compound. CONSTITUTION:A combination of (A) a metathesis polymerizable monomer (e.g., dicyclopentadiene) reactive solution containing a metathesis polymerization catalyst series catalyst component (e.g., tungsten hexachloride) and (B) a metathesis polymerizable monomer reactive solution containing a metathesis polymerization catalyst series activating agent component (e.g., trioctyl aluminum) is mixed. The produced mixture is poured into a mold in the coexistence of >=one kind of halogenated phosphorus compounds having at least one halogen-phosphorus bond (e.g., dichlorophenylphosphine) and subsequently polymerized to provide the objective crosslinked polymer molded product.
