TL;DR: The reactivity of L2PhB as well as its transition-metal complexes toward main-group substrates have been systematically examined, which led to the construction of B-E bonds, and electrophilic alkylation of a neutral tricoordinate organoboron was achieved.
Abstract: The reactivity of L2PhB: (1; L = oxazol-2-ylidene) as well as its transition-metal (chromium and iron) complexes toward main-group substrates have been systematically examined, which led to the construction of B–E (E = C, Ga, Cl, H, F, N) bonds. The combination of 1 and triethylborane smoothly captured carbon dioxide concomitant with the formation of B–C and B–O bonds. The soft basic boron center in 1 readily reacted with soft acidic gallium trichloride (GaCl3) to afford the extremely stable adduct 4 involving a B–Ga dative bond. Electrophilic alkylation of a neutral tricoordinate organoboron was first achieved by the treatment of 1 with dichloromethane and methyl trifluoromethanesulfonate (MeOTf), both of which afforded ionic species featuring an additional B–C bond. Comparatively, redox reactions took place when halides of heavier elements such as germanium dichloride, dichlorophenylphosphine, and chlorodiphenylbismuth were employed as substrates, from which cationic species 7 bearing a B–Cl bond was ob...

TL;DR: The benzophosphole-fused indoles, such as phosphine oxide, phospholium salt, and borane complex, exhibited strong photoluminescence in dichloromethane (Φ = 67–75%).
Abstract: The parent benzophospholo[3,2-b]indole was prepared by the reaction of dichlorophenylphosphine with a dilithium intermediate, which was prepared in two steps from 2-ethynyl-N,N-dimethylaniline. Using the obtained benzophosphole-fused indole as a common starting material, simple modifications were carried out at the phosphorus center of the phosphole, synthesizing various functionalized analogs. The X-ray structure analysis of trivalent phosphole and phosphine oxide showed that the fused tetracyclic moieties are planar. The benzophosphole-fused indoles, such as phosphine oxide, phospholium salt, and borane complex, exhibited strong photoluminescence in dichloromethane (Φ = 67–75%).

TL;DR: In this paper, a synthesis method for a benzo[b]phospholes compound using trace air catalysis has been proposed, where an oxidant, a catalyst and an additive do not need to be additionally added, and tolerance on different functional groups is good.
Abstract: The invention belongs to the organic chemical synthesis field and in particular relates to a synthesis method of benzo[b]phospholes. The synthesis method comprises the following steps: taking 1-substitued-2-bromoaryl-acetylene as a raw material, adding a dichlorophenylphosphine synthesis intermediate, and then generating a target compound through trace air catalysis. The synthesis method provided by the invention has the advantages that an oxidant, a catalyst and an additive do not need to be additionally added, and tolerance on different functional groups is good, so that the synthesis method is an environment-friendly synthesis method for a benzo[b]phospholes compound; the yield reaches more than 40%, so that the synthesis method has a good application prospect.

TL;DR: In this paper, a selenium atom-containing fluorescence probe has been presented, which has the advantages of simple synthesis steps, mild conditions, low production cost and high thermal stability.
Abstract: The invention discloses a selenium atom-containing fluorescence probe, and a preparation method and an application thereof, and belongs to the field of functional materials. The structural general formula of above material is represented by formula (I) shown in the description; and in the formula (I), Ar is a carbazolyl or diphenylamino group, and Ph is a phenyl group. The preparation method of the material concretely comprises the following steps: reacting carbazole/diphenylamine with dichlorophenylphosphine/diphenylchlorophosphine to form a derivative containing an N-P structure, and carrying out chemical modification to introduce selenium atoms in order to form the selenium atom-containing fluorescence probe. The method has the advantages of simple synthesis steps, mild conditions, low production cost and high thermal stability. Se=O double bonds are formed through the reaction of the selenium atoms and hypochlorite radicals in order to generate fluorescence change. The selenium atom-containing fluorescence probe has the advantages of high sensitivity and high selectivity.
