TL;DR: In this paper, a device for diffusing substance by catalytic combustion allowing the emission of volatile matter is described, where the diffusion head is connected detachably to the second end of the wick.
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for diffusing substance by catalytic combustion allowing the emission of volatile matter comprising: a container (4) containing the liquid to be vaporized, said container (4) having a wick (6) comprising a first end which is dipped in said liquid to be vaporized and a second end which is outside of said container (4); and a diffusion head (2) comprising a catalytic combustion area and a vaporization area; characterized in that said diffusion head (2) is connected detachably to said second end of said wick (6)

TL;DR: In this article, a method for making a hydrophilic carbon fiber construction, such as a fuel cell gas diffusion layer or diffuser/current collector, by electrophoretic deposition of a metal oxide selected from Type I or Type II, where Type I consists of metal oxides having a negative zeta potential and Type II consisting of metal oxide having a positive zet potential.
Abstract: A method is provided for making a hydrophilic carbon fiber construction, such as a fuel cell gas diffusion layer or diffuser/current collector, by electrophoretic deposition of a metal oxide selected from Type I or Type II, where Type I consists of metal oxides having a negative zeta potential and Type II consists of metal oxides having a positive zeta potential. A hydrophilic carbon fiber construction is provided, such as a fuel cell gas diffusion layer or diffuser/current collector, which is coated with a metal oxide and capable of wicking 200mg of water per 40mg of the hydrophilic carbon fiber construction.

TL;DR: A wine and spirit aerator includes a tube, a diffuser and an air pump attached to opposing ends of the tube as mentioned in this paper, which can be removed and replaced with carbon dioxide injector to turn the aerator into a carbonated beverage preparation apparatus or a plant feeding apparatus.
Abstract: A wine and spirit aerator includes a tube, a diffuser and an air pump attached to opposing ends of the tube. The aerator may include a stopper sized and shaped to be inserted into a lip of a wine or spirit bottle. The tube and diffuser can extend to the bottom of the bottle. The tube can have telescoping sections or be sized for single glass operation where the pump can be set on a structure between uses. The diffuser can be porous or sintered metal. The pump can be removed and replaced with a carbon dioxide injector to turn the aerator into a carbonated beverage preparation apparatus or a plant feeding apparatus. A method of marketing wine and spirits is also provided in which videos of same aerated by the disclosed aerators are posted to a website that offers both the aerators and the wine or spirit for purchase.

TL;DR: In this article, the inner diffusion particles include two or more types of spherical particles having different refraction indexes, and variations of cross-sectional area of scattering per unit volume of the bulk diffuser owing to a variation of a refraction index of the forming material are mutually cancelled by a combination of the inner diffusers.
Abstract: A bulk diffuser including: a base material; and a diffusion layer which has a forming material and inner diffusion particles dispersed in the forming material, and is formed on the base material, wherein the inner diffusion particles include two or more types of spherical particles having different refraction indexes, and variations of cross-sectional area of scattering per unit volume of the bulk diffuser owing to a variation of a refraction index of the forming material are mutually cancelled by a combination of the inner diffusion particles.
