TL;DR: In this article, the experimental arrangement for uniformization and profile determination of the proton beam from the Van de Graaff accelerator at PUC/RJ is described and a discussion about the effects of the diffuser thickness and relative positron to the target on the beam uniformity is presented.

TL;DR: An optical diffuser layer includes a binder, a plurality of metal oxide particles dispersed in the binder and interconnected voids as mentioned in this paper, which has an effective refractive index of 1.3 or less.
Abstract: An optical diffuser layer includes a binder, a plurality of metal oxide particles dispersed in the binder, and a plurality of interconnected voids. A plurality of haze generating particles are dispersed in the binder. The optical diffuser layer has an effective refractive index of 1.3 or less.

TL;DR: In this paper, a valve for an aerosol container, of the kind which is adapted to pass propellant into the container to pressurize the aerosol product, has a dip tube which is arranged to act as a diffuser.
Abstract: A valve for an aerosol container, of the kind which is adapted to pass propellant into the container to pressurize the aerosol product, has a dip tube which is arranged to act as a diffuser. The propellant is thereby caused to enter the product as a large number of small bubbles rather than a much smaller number of larger bubbles. By thus improving the rate of solution of the propellant in the product the propellant charging times can be substantially reduced.

23 Jul 2008TL;DR: In this paper, the diffuser is constructed such that a low-pressure region in the area of the transition between the spiral housing and the tongue is at least reduced, which is the case for a turbo-charger.
Abstract: A radial compressor, in particular for a turbo-charger, has a spiral housing and a diffuser. The diffuser is constructed such that a low-pressure region in the area of the transition between the spiral housing and the tongue is at least reduced.
