TL;DR: A system to capture high accuracy 3D models of faces by taking just one photo without the need of specialized hardware, just a consumer grade digital camera and beamer is presented.
Abstract: We present a system to capture high accuracy 3D models of faces by taking just one photo without the need of specialized hardware, just a consumer grade digital camera and beamer. The proposed 3D face scanner utilizes structured light techniques: A colored pattern is projected into the face of interest while a photo is taken. Then, the 3D geometry is calculated based on the distortions of the pattern detected in the face. This is performed by triangulating the pattern found in the captured image with the projected one.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a method of performing correction of digital images comprising the steps of obtaining a digital image using a digital camera having digital image sensor in a camera housing, an image plane defined in the housing at the digital image sensors, the digital camera further comprising a lens, the lens configured to be movable relative to the housing, and a sensor configured to detect the position of the lens relative to a housing, the sensor configured to transmit position information in electronic form to a processor.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device comprising a frame having a first part defining a first plane and a second part defining a second plane. The first part configured to be mounted to a camera body and the second part configured to be mounted to a lens, the second part being movable relative to the first part. Also a sensor configured to detect the position of the second plane relative to the first plane, the sensor configured to transmit position information in electronic form to a processor. Further more the present invention relates to a digital camera including a digital image sensor in a camera housing, an image plane defined in the housing at the digital image sensor, the digital camera further comprising a lens mount for receiving a lens, the lens configured to be movable relative to the housing, and a sensor configured to detect the position of the lens relative to the housing, the sensor configured to transmit position information in electronic form to a processor. Still further the present invention relates to a digital camera including a digital image sensor in a camera housing, the digital image sensor being movably mounted in the camera housing, an image plane defined in the housing by the digital image sensor, the digital camera further comprising a lens mount for receiving a lens, the lens mount fixing the lens to the camera housing, and a sensor configured to detect the position of the digital image sensor relative to the housing, the sensor configured to transmit position information in electronic form to a processor. Even till further the present invention relates to a method of performing correction of digital images comprising the steps of obtaining a digital image using a digital camera having digital image sensor in a camera housing, an image plane defined in the housing at the digital image sensor, the digital camera further comprising a lens, the lens configured to be movable relative to the housing, and a sensor configured to detect the position of the lens relative to the housing, the sensor configured to transmit position information in electronic form to a processor, and performing image correction using position data from the sensor.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a solution to provide a cradle which can increase the convenience of portable information equipment, such as a digital camera, which has an image display function and functions of removable media, etc., omitted.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cradle which can increase the convenience of portable information equipment, such as a digital camera, which has an image display function and functions of removable media, etc., omitted. SOLUTION: When the camera 10 is mounted on a camera mount part 102 of the cradle 100, a camera connector 22 and a cradle connector 104 are electrically connected to each other associatively with the mounting operation. A control circuit 140 in the cradle 100 detects the camera 10 connected and automatically starts communication between the both. An image saved in an internal memory of the camera 10 is sent to the side of the cradle 100 and displayed on a liquid crystal display 106. A user is able to erase an unnecessary image while confirming the image. Further, a data storage means such as removable media is preferably provided on the side of the cradle 100 to clear the memory in the camera 10 after transferring images in the camera 10 to the data storage means on the side of the cradle 100. TL;DR: In this article, a Jens assembly (24, 24a) is rigidly affixed in relation to a sensor array area (14) of a camera chip (12) by a molding.
Abstract: A integrated camera module (10, 10a) for capturing video images in very small digital cameras, cell phones, personal digital assistants, and the like. A Jens assembly (24, 24a) is rigidly affixed in relation to a sensor array area (14) of a camera chip (12) by a molding (26). The molding (26) is formed on the camera chip (12), and optionally on a printed circuit board (16, 16a) on which the camera chip (12) is mounted. The Jens assembly (24, 24a) is held in place in a recess (29) of the molding (26) by an adhesive (28). The molding (26) is formed such that a precise gap (30) exists between the lens assembly (24) and a sensor array area (14) of the camera chip (12).
