TL;DR: In this article, a camera consisting of a communication device, an imaging device, and a switching device was used to switch between a communication mode and a shooting mode, and the switching device switched the communication mode to the shooting mode responsive to completion of communication.
Abstract: A camera having communication ability can switch a mode between a communication mode and a shooting mode. The camera combines features of a communication device and a digital camera. The camera comprises a communication device, an imaging device, and a switching device. The switching device switched the communication mode to the shooting mode responsive to completion of communication.

TL;DR: In this article, a digital camera module, an apparatus and a method of assembling the camera module are described. But they do not describe the assembly of the camera modules themselves, only the assembling of the assembled camera module.
Abstract: A digital camera module, an apparatus and method of assembling the digital camera module are disclosed. The digital camera module includes a barrel having external threads on an external surface thereof, with one or more lenses set in the barrel, and an assembling plate mounted to an upper surface of the barrel. A camera module housing is assembled with the barrel, and has an internally threaded opening through which the barrel is mounted to the housing. The digital camera module also has an image sensor converting an image of a subject into an electrical image signal, and a substrate having an electronic circuit, with the image sensor installed on the substrate. The method of assembling the digital camera module comprise holding a plurality of barrels, each having a magnetic assembling plate, in a jig having a first magnet; assembling one or more lenses in each of the barrels held in the jig so as to align the lenses in the barrel; attaching each of the barrels having the lenses to an assembling handler having a second magnet; and assembling each of the barrels to a camera module housing by manipulating the assembling handler. The apparatus for assembling a digital camera module is comprised of the jig and the assembling handler.

TL;DR: The objective of this paper is to develop a photo forensics algorithm which can detect any photo manipulation and showed that the proposed algorithm could identify successfully the modified image as well as showing the exact location of modifications.
Abstract: Nowadays, image manipulation is common due to the availability of image processing software, such as Adobe Photoshop or GIMP. The original image captured by digital camera or smartphone normally is saved in the JPEG format due to its popularity. JPEG algorithm works on image grids, compressed independently, having size of 8x8 pixels. For unmodified image, all 8x8 grids should have a similar error level. For resaving operation, each block should degrade at approximately the same rate due to the introduction of similar amount of errors across the entire image. For modified image, the altered blocks should have higher error potential compred to the remaining part of the image. The objective of this paper is to develop a photo forensics algorithm which can detect any photo manipulation. The error level analysis (ELA) was further enhanced using vertical and horizontal histograms of ELA image to pinpoint the exact location of modification. Results showed that our proposed algorithm could identify successfully the modified image as well as showing the exact location of modifications.

TL;DR: In this article, a digital document acquisition and storage system, comprising a stand with a support arm hinged thereto and a digital camera, which can be displayed by means of an optical positioning aid and is connected to an electronic data processing device, is described.
Abstract: The invention relates to a digital document acquisition and storage system, comprising a stand with a support arm hinged thereto and a digital camera, which has an image acquisition area that can be displayed by means of an optical positioning aid and is connected to an electronic data processing device. The aim of the invention is to develop a digital document acquisition and storage system with which it is easy to precisely align the document during reading for electronic acquisition, resulting in a file which gives a qualitative representation of the document which largely matches that of the original. The aim is achieved using a system in which the digital camera has a resolution of at least two million pixels and the optical positioning aid is a single laser which, using a lens, displays a border of the image acquisition area with four guide edges.

TL;DR: In this article, an approximation method for deriving the first coefficient of radial aberration model is proposed, which enables a digital camera system to automatically find a good parameter in order to correct radial lens distortion by capturing an image with a single straight line.
Abstract: An approximation method for deriving the first coefficient of radial aberration model is proposed. This invention idea enables a digital camera system to automatically find a good parameter in order to correct radial lens distortion by capturing an image with a single straight line. The proposed method is computationally efficient for a digital camera to perform radial lens correction in real time.
