TL;DR: In this paper, a digital camera that can be used in connection to a mobile phone or other mobile electronic devices and the system thereof, a battery mounted in each device is shared to allow power to be supplied between the devices, and allow both devices to be used for longer hours.
Abstract: In the digital camera that can be used in connection to a mobile phone or other mobile electronic devices and the system thereof, a battery mounted in each device is shared to allow power to be supplied between the devices, and allow both devices to be used for longer hours. The digital camera and the mobile phone are electrically connectable by a connection cable. Generally, a power supply selection switch is set to A, and a power supply selection switch is set to D. The digital camera receives power supplied from a battery, and the mobile phone receives power supplied form a battery. From this state, when the power supply selection switch is switched to C, power is supplied from the battery to the mobile phone. On the other hand, when the power supply selection switch is set to B, and the power supply selection switch is set to D, power is supplied from the battery of the mobile phone to the digital camera.

TL;DR: It is concluded that dynamic web pages are a powerful and useful tool for adding educational and scientific value to repeat digital photography systems.
Abstract: Web camera image databases and web-based services can be valuable components for a variety of modelling applications, but are still areas of relatively new exploration. Investigating design and information flow for an online image archive and analysis site for plant phenology and meteorological research has broader relevance to considerations of interoperability and website features. Currently, numerous online weather cameras provide images, but have no or limited-utility archives and do not support quantitative image analysis. We describe the design and implementation of a website (http://zulu.geog.ucsb.edu/Data/camera.html) that both provides different display options for archived image review, as well as the ability to chart time-series values extracted for user-specified regions of interest. This interface is distinguished by content-enabled charts with the ability to click on data points and directly access the corresponding image for reference purposes. A linked website to the meteorological data from the camera station further extends the potential for exploratory analysis and pedagogical utility. Online quantification of the color change related to plant senescence and insolation impacts due to cloud cover are demonstrated. We conclude that dynamic web pages are a powerful and useful tool for adding educational and scientific value to repeat digital photography systems.

TL;DR: In this paper, when a digital camera and a computer are connected by detecting that an operation member of the digital camera is operated, transmitting a detection signal to the computer and allowing the computer to receive the detection signal and to perform image control in accordance with the received signal.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a digital camera system which easily performs an operation when a digital camera and a computer are connected by detecting that an operation member of the digital camera is operated, transmitting a detection signal to the computer and allowing the computer to receive the detection signal and to perform image control in accordance with the received signal. SOLUTION: When a digital camera is connected to a USB port of a keyboard under the condition where a personal computer is activated the icon c1 of the digital camera appears on an image 1001 of the personal computer. Thus, because the image 1001 of the computer is controlled in accordance with an operation of an operation member of the digital camera, the image 1001 of the computer can be operated from the digital camera side. Then, the operation member of the digital camera and the operation member of the computer do not have to be separately used any more every time, the operations are made easy and the operability can be improved remarkably. TL;DR: In this paper, a synchronization system consisting of a base unit and at least one video camera is presented, where the base unit includes a master time-base adapted to set a time period that samples a frame of video data, a memory, and a base-unit communications transceiver.
Abstract: The present invention provides a synchronization system comprising a base unit and at least one video camera. The base unit includes a master time-base adapted to set a time period that samples a frame of video data, a memory, and a base unit communications transceiver. The base unit communications transceiver is adapted to transmit a frame synchronization signal to a video camera communications transceiver. The video camera includes an image sensor adapted to store the video data, an exposure control adapted to control an exposure level of the image sensor, and a camera time-base adapted to receive the frame synchronization signal from the video camera communications transceiver. The camera time-base is further adapted to receive the frame synchronization signal, reset its time and initiates its internal timing sequence, transmit signals to the exposure control to control a length of the exposure, and transmit timing signals to the image sensor to read the video data.
