TL;DR: This paper describes the implementation in silicon of a retina-like sensor characterized by a space-variant resolution similar to that of the human retina and its applications for real-time control and image transmission.
Abstract: This paper describes the implementation in silicon of a retina-like sensor characterized by a space-variant resolution similar to that of the human retina. Besides the actual implementation using CMOS technology, the design peculiarities of retina-like sensors are compared with the use of software or hardware electronic remappers. The paper also describes the realization of a retina-like digital camera and its applications for real-time control and image transmission.

TL;DR: In this article, the master camera is set as a master camera, and other slave cameras are set as slave cameras, and based on the photography operation of the master cameras, the slave cameras photograph.
Abstract: Users of digital cameras are ensured to photograph in a remote camera system which employs a plurality of imaging devices. One digital camera is set as a master camera, and other digital cameras are set as slave cameras. Thus, based on the photography operation of the master camera, the slave cameras photograph. By pressing a shutter button of the master camera halfway, photography notification data is sent to the slave cameras from the master camera, notifying that the photographing is about to take place. After receiving the notice, the slave cameras perform photography notification by outputting sound or voice, displaying messages, or the like. Therefore, the users of the slave cameras are able to know that photographing is about to take place.

TL;DR: In this article, a system for recording and displaying a time sequential scene on a computer is described, where a digital camera transmits a sequence of digital image frames to a timer representing the image of a body passing a plane in space.
Abstract: The invention provides a system for recording and displaying a time sequential scene on a computer (16). The digital camera (12) transmits a sequence of digital image frames to the timer (14) representative of the image of a body passing a plane in space. Each frame represents a line object (18) of the body, thus forming a fractional part of the scene. Once the frame reaches the image timer (14), it is digitally marked with a time reference (34) and buffered into a block of information. The main control computer (16) stores blocks of information from the image timer (14) for a variety of processing and features available to the user. The invention also provides a selected memory (36), preferably a virtual memory subsystem, or hard-disc drive. Preferred constructions for adjusting camera pixel processing of light values, time-marking the images, creating color palettes for interactive viewing of color images, and video data coding to accommodate the high volume of line image data are described.

TL;DR: In this paper, a digital camera is registered in a computer system, transmissions from the camera can be transmitted to the receiving first computer and thereafter transferred over the network for creation of a multi-media file which can be viewed at a private network or Internet accessible second computer.
Abstract: A digital camera supplies images to a first computer of a network via a receiver which is enabled as a bridge for Bluetooth, wireless LAN and infrared transmission from a digital camera. Once a digital camera is registered in a computer system, transmissions from the camera can be transmitted to the receiving first computer and thereafter transferred over the network for creation of a multi-media file which can be viewed at a private network or Internet accessible second computer.
