TL;DR: In this article, a method for operating a display apparatus in which one source output of a source driver is connected with first to N-th data lines through first-to-N-th time division switches is presented.
Abstract: A method is provided for operating a display apparatus in which one source output of a source driver is connected with first to N-th data lines through first to N-th time division switches, which method includes: driving a first pixel positioned in a first horizontal line and connected with one of the first to N-th data lines, by feeding a first drive voltage to the one of the first to N-th data lines from the one source output with associated one of the first to N-th time division switches; and driving a second pixel positioned in a second horizontal line next to the first horizontal line and connected with the one of the first to N-th data lines, by feeding a second drive voltage to the one of the first to N-th data lines from the source output with associated one of the first to N-th time division switches. The associated one time division switch is kept turned on during a time period from a start time of the driving the first pixel to a start time of the driving the second pixel.

TL;DR: The stochastic model of cell division formulated by Alt and Tyson is generalized to the case of imprecise binary fission and closed-form expressions are derived for the generation-time distribution, the birth-size and division-size distributions, the beta curve, and the correlation coefficient of generation times of sister cells.
Abstract: The stochastic model of cell division formulated by Alt and Tyson is generalized to the case of imprecise binary fission. Closed-form expressions are derived for the generation-time distribution, the birth-size and division-size distributions, the β curve, and the correlation coefficient of generation times of sister cells. The theoretical results are compared to observations of cell division statistics in a culture of fission yeast.

TL;DR: In this paper, a proportional drift tube (PDT) of length l = 6 m containing only two potentials for a 5 cm drift distance has been constructed, and the coordinate along the drift direction is obtained conventionally.
Abstract: A proportional drift tube (PDT) of length l = 6 m containing only two potentials for a 5 cm drift distance has been constructed. The coordinate along the drift direction is obtained conventionally. The second coordinate is obtained with an accuracy of ±0.8 mm (rms) by utilizing a combination of time division [1] and vernier pads [2], of length L = 20 cm. The left/right drift time ambiguity can be resolved using separate top and bottom vernier pad readout.

TL;DR: In this article, a method of dividing a semiconductor wafer of which the surface has a plurality of chips sectioned by streets, into individual chips is described, characterized in that it comprises a scribing step in which division guide lines are formed by drawing scribed lines along the streets on the surface of the semiconductor Wafer, a tape sticking step in where a tape is stuck onto the surface having the division guides formed thereon, of the wafer, and a back surface cutting step in that cutting grooves are formed in the back surface, to which the tape is

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the double of a 4-dimensional real quadratic division algebra is again a division algebra, and that any cross-section for the equivalence classes of configurations, t.
Abstract: Introduction. While quadratic algebras exist in abundance in each dimension, finite-dimensional real division algebras occur in dimensions 1,2,4 and 8 only [5,8,2,1]. Despite of this '(1,2,4,8)-Theorem', the classification of all finitedimensional real division algebras up to isomorphism is a yet unsolved problem. However, the subproblem of classifying all 4-dimensional real quadratic division algebras has recently been solved (cf. [3]) in the following terms. From each configuration in R3 consisting of a pair of points and an ellipsoid in normal form, a 4-dimensional real quadratic division algebra is constructed. This construction induces a bijection between the isomorphism classes of such division algebras and the equivalence classes of configurations. Here, two configurations are called equivalent, if their ellipsoids coincide and their pairs of points lie in the same orbit under the action of the symmetry group of the ellipsoid. The present note deals with two aspects of this result. Firstly, it presents an alternative and more conceptual approach ' to the classification, making the direct computations contained in [3] superfluous. Secondly, it uses the classification to show that the double of a 4-dimensional real quadratic division algebra is again a division algebra. As a consequence, any cross-section for the equivalence classes of configurations, t.ogether with JFt and C, classifies all finite-dimensional real quadratic algebras with doubling-invariant division property.
