TL;DR: In this article, a method and device for controlling braking force distribution in a motor vehicle is described, which is activated when the speed and deceleration of the vehicle exceed given minimum values.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and device for controlling braking force distribution in a motor vehicle. In the case of failure of the braking system, the braking force distribution regulator enters emergency mode. The regulation is activated when the speed and the deceleration of the vehicle exceed given minimum values. The invention also concerns emergency measures for regulating the braking force distribution in the case of certain individual errors.

TL;DR: In this paper, a system for braking an induction motor comprising normally nonconducting switch means operable, when conducting, to connect capacitance means to the primary winding of the motor to effect braking of motor and means responsive to the interruption of the supply to the motor.
Abstract: The disclosure of this specification relates to a system for braking an induction motor comprising normally nonconducting switch means operable, when conducting, to connect capacitance means to the primary winding of the motor to effect braking of the motor and means responsive to the interruption of the supply to the motor to render the normally nonconducting switch means conducting for a period of time sufficient to bring the motor to rest.

TL;DR: In this paper, the human kinematic response resulting from various pre-crash braking scenarios is quantified, and the underlying question is what kind of effect do pre crash braking systems have on the driver or the front seat passenger.
Abstract: In this study, human kinematic response resulting from various pre-crash braking scenarios is quantified. The underlying question is what kind of effect do pre-crash braking systems have on the driver or the front seat passenger.
