TL;DR: In this article, a protection unit (MP11) connected to a power supply network (RB) in downstream of an energy source e.g. voltage and current generator (AL) or main electric energy storage module (BA) is arranged for determining each control signal based on current operating state of the component.
Abstract: The device (D) has a protection unit (MP11) connected to a power supply network (RB) in downstream of energy source e.g. voltage and current generator (AL) or main electric energy storage module (BA) i.e. rechargeable battery and in upstream or at an input of electrical component (C11). The protection unit is arranged to feed the component with current less than or equal to a variable threshold taking different values defined by control signals. A processing unit (MT) e.g. microprocessor, is arranged for determining each control signal based on current operating state of the component.

TL;DR: A brief survey of the current research status of the theory of nonlinear infinite electrical networks can be found in this paper, where special attention is paid to the computational methods of solving for currents and voltages and to how such networks arise as realizations of the finite-difference approximations of NDEs with infinite domains.
Abstract: A brief survey is made of the current research status of the theory of nonlinear infinite electrical networks. Special attention is paid to the computational methods of solving for currents and voltages and to how such networks arise as realizations of the finite-difference approximations of nonlinear partial differential equations with infinite domains. Various open problems are described. IhTRODUCTION Although the idea of an infinite lumped electrical network has been current from the very earliest days of electrical engineering, it has been only during the last fifteen years that the concept has been subjected to rigorous mathematical analysis. To be sure, particular kinds of infinite networks, such as the infinite ladder analog to an infinite transmission line, have been examined in mathematically acceptable ways, but the full generality of the subject was not explored until the last decade and a half. Researchers in this area and some representative references are Belevitch’, Dolezal”

TL;DR: In this article, a method for diagnosing a malfunction of a vehicle cooling system, in particular an electric motor and associated electrical power elements, such as an inverter, on-board charger, is presented.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for diagnosing a malfunction of a vehicle cooling system, in particular an electric motor and associated electrical power elements, such as an inverter, on-board charger. The method comprises estimating an estimated weighted temperature (424) which is determined from a barycentric calculation of first and second measured temperatures (422, 423), determining a threshold (426) by calculating the minimum between, on the one hand, an outside temperature (425) in an environment of the vehicle and, on the other hand, the second temperature (423), comparing (427) the weighted temperature (424) with said threshold (426), and if the weighted temperature (424) is detected to be lower than said threshold (426), a step of activating a diagnosis (200) of a malfunction of the cooling system.

10 Oct 2008TL;DR: In this paper, the steady state and transient behavior of a multilevel voltage source converter with neutral-point clamp, VSC-NPC, interconnecting wind generation to medium voltage grids is analyzed.
Abstract: This paper shows the steady state and transient behavior of a Multilevel Voltage Source Converter with Neutral-Point Clamp, VSC-NPC, interconnecting wind generation to medium voltage grids. The benefits on loads close to wind generation are also analyzed. The purpose of VSC operating as inverter is to support the wind generation system performance and dynamic interaction with the network. For analyzing the transient behavior of the electrical network, several voltage sags and swells are applied to the grid. The simulation results show how the distribution network is protected against these disturbances. The various network operation scenarios have been carried out in Simulinkcopy.

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for monitoring the state of an electrical circuit supplied with electrical energy by an electrical energy source, such as a circuit for protection against electrical overloads at the output of a power supply source in an electrical distribution network, was proposed.
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and a method for monitoring the state of an electrical circuit supplied with electrical energy by an electrical energy source, such as a circuit for protection against electrical overloads at the output of an electrical energy source in an electrical energy distribution network, or an electrical power supply circuit of an electronic apparatus at the output of the electrical energy source in an electrical energy distribution circuit. This monitoring device comprises means for measuring an electrical quantity, such as the electrical energy, associated with the electrical circuit supplied by the electrical energy source, the measurement means comprising a power supply circuit 14 able to generate an electrical power supply current and a measurement circuit, for example of Rogowski type, able to measure the electrical quantity associated with the power supply circuit 14. This power supply circuit 14 comprises detection means 20 able to detect the absence or the presence of current in the electrical circuit by measuring the voltage across the terminals of the power supply circuit 14. + 0 0 ~~ -o /~; - ------------ -- ---- - - --------
