TL;DR: In this article, a system for calibrating an energy meter is presented, in which a rotor rotates at an angular velocity generally proportional to the energy input to the meter, and a test apparatus is responsive to rotation of the rotor to generate a test signal having a predetermined parameter.
Abstract: A system for calibrating an energy meter is provided. The energy meter has a rotor which rotates at an angular velocity generally proportional to the energy input to the meter. A reference transducer receives an energy input for generating a reference signal having a predetermined parameter, such as frequency, generally proportional to the energy input. A test apparatus is responsive to rotation of the rotor to generate a test signal having a predetermined parameter, such as frequency, generally proportional to the angular velocity of the rotor. An error signal generator receives the reference signal and the test signal upon fractional rotation of the rotor and generates an error signal to indicate the amount of error between the frequency of the test signal and a calibration value corresponding to the frequency of the reference signal. The meter is calibrated based on the error signal. A related method is also disclosed for calibrating the meter.

TL;DR: This paper introduces a method for measuring electrical power digitally by listing a non-linear analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) and the converted outputs are subtracted to obtain the power in digital form.
Abstract: This paper introduces a method for measuring electrical power digitally by listing a non-linear analogue-to-digital converter (ADC). Two DC signals am generated ; the first is proportional to this peak voltage Vm , and the second to Im cos φ. These two signals are added and subtracted and then applied to a square-law ADC The converted outputs are then subtracted to obtain the power in digital form.

TL;DR: In this article, an electricity conduction circuit inserted with a mutual reactor and two units of current transformers was used to measure the iron loss or eddy current loss of a sample.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To measure the iron loss or eddy current loss of a sample to be measured by using the difference between the output voltage when the sample is not installed near an electricity conduction circuit and the output voltage when the sample is installed near the same and the secondary current of the other current transformer of two units of current converters. CONSTITUTION:An electricity conduction circuit inserted with a mutual reactor 4 and two units of current transformers 5, 6 is provided and a search coil 3 which generates the magnetic flux to be generated when AC current is conducted to said circuit is installed. The 1st variable resistor 7 and the 2nd variable resistor 9 are connected to the search coil. Current I is conducted to the electricity conduction circuit from an electricity conduction transformer 2 and the resistors 7, 9 are so regulated that the input voltage V inputted from a measuring circuit to a power meter 10 is made zero. The output of the power meter 10 is made zero. A sample 12 to be measured is installed in the prescribed position near a voltage lead wire 3 in this state and the eddy current loss (or iron loss) of the sample 12 is measured from the output of the power meter 10.
