TL;DR: In this paper, a non-intrusive load identification based subentry measuring smart electricity meter is presented, where the non-interference is used for identifying loads of different types mounted in a house and outputting the corresponding subentry measurement results.
Abstract: The invention discloses a non-intrusive load identification based subentry measuring smart electricity meter. The smart electricity meter includes a non-intrusive load identification module integratedin the smart electricity meter, wherein the non-intrusive load identification module can be printed on a main circuit board of the smart electricity meter or can be connected with the main circuit board of the smart electricity meter through a connector, and the non-intrusive load identification module is mounted in the meter box of the smart electricity meter or mounted in a reception cabin of asmart electricity meter module; the non-intrusive load identification module is used for identifying loads of different types mounted in a house, obtaining subentry measurement results of the different load types and outputting the corresponding subentry measurement results . According to the invention, non-intrusive load identification is integrated with a prior smart electricity meter, so thatprior smart electricity metering level is improved, richer electricity consumption information is provided for users and the non-intrusive load identification based subentry measuring smart electricity meter provided by the invention has a good application prospect.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a novel electricity consumption information acquisition system, comprising an intelligent electricity meter with an Ethernet interface, an Ethernet electricity meter concentrator, Ethernet passive optical network (EPON), and an ECS information acquisition master station.
Abstract: The invention relates to a novel electricity consumption information acquisition system, comprising an intelligent electricity meter with an Ethernet interface, an Ethernet electricity meter concentrator, an Ethernet passive optical network (EPON) and an electricity consumption information acquisition master station, wherein the Ethernet interface of the intelligent electricity meter is connected with a first Ethernet interface of the Ethernet electricity meter concentrator; a second Ethernet interface of the Ethernet electricity meter concentrator is connected with an Ethernet interface of an optical network unit (ONU) in the Ethernet passive optical network; and an optical line unit (OLT) in the Ethernet passive optical network is connected with the electricity consumption information acquisition master station by optical fibers. By the novel electricity consumption information acquisition system, the problem that the traditional electricity consumption information acquisition mode cannot meet the development requirement of interactive service between smart electric grid and electricity consumption sectors can be solved, and the effects of high signal acquisition speed, short acquisition period and high stability can be achieved.

TL;DR: In this paper, a fault location is affected by a loop-back component connected to a terminal's transmitting equipment via a first optical coupler and to an output to which a receive power meter (9) can be connected.
Abstract: In an optical transmission system automatic (or semi-automatic) fault location is effected by a loop-back component (10) connected to a terminal's transmitting equipment (3) via a first optical coupler (4) and to an output to which a receive power meter (9) can be connected. A launch power meter (8) can also be connected to the loop- back component(s). The component (5) includes switching means (10) which connects the first coupler to the launch power meter or to a second coupler to measure an estimate of power level received from a remote transmitter. In normal operation the receive power meter (9) if connected to a second coupler 7, measures a proportion of the power from a remote transmitter. If a fault occurs readings are taken with switching means in different settings and the results of these readings enable the fault to be located. The switching means can be an optical switch, or an optical coupler whose output to the second coupler goes via an on/off switch or an electrically adjustable attenuator.

TL;DR: In this article, an intelligent electrical energy monitoring system consisting of a voltage transformer and a current transformer is described, where the voltage transformer is connected with an A/D (Analog to Digital) chip and an electrical energy metering chip.
Abstract: The utility model relates to an intelligent electrical energy monitoring system, which comprises a voltage transformer and a current transformer, wherein the voltage transformer and the current transformer are respectively connected with an A/D (Analog to Digital) chip and an electrical energy metering chip, the A/D chip and the electrical energy metering chip are connected with a controller, the controller is connected with a liquid crystal display and an IC (Integrated Circuit) radio frequency chip, the controller is connected with a PC (Personal Computer) through an RS-485 bus, and the PC is connected with a server through a network. In the intelligent electrical energy monitoring system disclosed by the utility model, an intelligent electric meter and the Internet are combined, so that the purpose of intelligence is realized; and no electric power personnel is needed to read the meter, and a user having the network does not need to go to banks to pay, so the intelligent electrical energy monitoring system is convenient for the user and an electric power department. The plants and families can feed back the electric power quality information to the electric power department through the network, so that the electric power department can monitor the electric power grid in real time.
