Abstract: This paper deals with automatic meter reading and theft control system in energy meter. Current transformer is used to measure the total power consumption for house or industrial purpose. This recorded reading is transmitted to the electricity board for every 60 days once. For transmitting the reading of energy meter GSM module is used. To avoid theft, infrared sensor is placed in the screw portion of energy meter seal. If the screw is removed from the meter a message is sent to the electricity board. The measuring of energy meter and monitoring of IR sensor is done with a PIC microcontroller. The informative system will be helpful for the electricity board to monitor the entire supply and the correct billing accordingly without any mishap. Abstract: The invention discloses an electric energy meter correction method and system and an electric energy meter. The method comprises the steps that meter correction data including an effective voltage value, an effective current value, a power value and electric meter constants of a standard meter platform are received, wherein the effective voltage value, the effective current value and the power value are metered by the standard meter platform; after an electric energy meter metering chip is initialized, an effective voltage value and an effective current value which are metered by an electric energy meter are obtained, and the correction value of a voltage metering parameter and the correction value of a current metering parameter are calculated according to the difference between the effective voltage value metered by the electric energy meter and the effective voltage value metered by the standard meter platform and the difference between the effective current value metered by the electric energy meter and the effective current value metered by the standard meter platform, and written in a register of the electric energy meter metering chip; then, the power value metered by the electric energy meter under the electric meter constants of the standard meter platform is obtained, and the correction value of a power metering parameter is calculated according to the difference between the power value metered by the electric energy meter and the power value metered by the standard meter platform, and written in the register of the electric energy meter metering chip. The electric energy meter correction method and system and the electric energy meter have the advantage that the calculation and writing operation of the correction values of all the metering parameters of the three-phase electric energy meter can be automatically completed through one time of interaction.

The system can realize data remote collection of electric energy meter, monitor electricity stealing and real-timely alarm, and can on-timely transmit field images, and capture the images stored in field devices, thereby providing powerful evidence for illegal stealing of users.
