TL;DR: In this paper, a charging monitor has a switch that is disposed between a load section having a storage battery and an external AC power supply supplying a current to the load section via a plurality of lines.
Abstract: A charging monitor has: a switch that is disposed between a load section having a storage battery and an external AC power supply supplying a current to the load section via a plurality of lines and interrupts the supply of the current from the external AC power supply to the load section; a current detection circuit that outputs a detection signal corresponding to a difference in level between currents flowing through the lines; a suppression circuit that suppresses a DC component contained in the detection signal; a filter circuit that filters a plurality of frequency components contained in the detection signal so that attenuation increases as a frequency becomes high; a rectifier smoothing circuit that rectifies and smoothens an output signal obtained when the detection signal passes through the filter circuit and the suppression circuit; and an electric leakage determination circuit that detects an electric leakage and shuts off the switch when the level of the signal smoothened by the rectifier smoothing circuit exceeds a preset reference level.

TL;DR: A polar SAW filter has attenuation poles in each of the higher-frequency and lower-frequency attenuation ranges of a pass band as discussed by the authors, and a two-terminal pair circuit is serially connected to the band-pass ladder type SAW filters and includes a plurality of inductors.
Abstract: A polar SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) filter includes a band-pass ladder type SAW filter having a SAW resonator. A two-terminal pair circuit is serially connected to the band-pass ladder type SAW filter and includes a plurality of inductors. The polar SAW filter has attenuation poles in each of the higher-frequency and lower-frequency attenuation ranges of a pass band.

TL;DR: A novel switching pulse generation methodology based on adaptive fuzzy hysteresis current controlled hybrid shunt active power filter (A-F-HCC-HSAPF) is presented in this paper for compensating reactive power and harmonics in distribution network.
Abstract: A novel switching pulse generation methodology based on adaptive fuzzy hysteresis current controlled hybrid shunt active power filter (A-F-HCC-HSAPF) is presented in this paper for compensating reactive power and harmonics in distribution network. The harmonic problems are mainly evolved because of extensive use of nonlinear loads in industry and domestic sectors. There are some adverse effects of harmonics such as: malfunctioning of sensitive equipment, resonance issues, conductors heating, power losses and reduced efficiency in distribution system. To mitigate harmonics issues passive, filters are used but when the harmonic component increases the design of passive filters is complex and becomes bulky. With the advancement in power electronic, the active power filter has been designed. Generally, the rating of the active filter is very high for some applications; hence hybrid shunt active power filter (HSAPF) is proposed by low-rated shunt active power filter (SAPF) and low-cost shunt passive filter. Proportional-integral or fuzzy logic controller is used to estimate the reference current and to regulate the dc capacitor voltage. To generate the switching pulse for the voltage source inverter of the SAPF, a novel adaptive fuzzy hysteresis current controller (A-F-HCC) is adopted. The performance of the proposed A-F-HCC-HSAPF is investigated during steady-state and transient conditions using MATLAB/Simulink and real-time environments.

TL;DR: In this article, an image-rejecting mixer and vector filter for radio systems with channel bandwidths in the range of 1 MHz is described. But the output of the circuit is at an IF of 5 MHz, traditional demodulation methods including limiting and FM discrimination can still be used.
Abstract: This paper describes an image-rejecting mixer and vector filter for use in radio systems with channel bandwidths in the range of 1 MHz. The circuit replaces the SAW filter and second downconverter commonly used in this style of radio. Because the output of the circuit is at an IF of 5 MHz, traditional demodulation methods including limiting and FM discrimination can still be used. The circuit is based on a quadrature mixer that guarantees good performance despite device mismatches and process variation. The circuit consumes 29 mA at 3.3 V,and achieves better than 55-dB image rejection despite device mismatches and process variation and is implemented in a single-poly triple metal 0.5 /spl mu/m CMOS process with linear capacitor implants. The circuit is designed for input signals from 125 to 250 MHz. Input referred voltage noise is 900 /spl mu/Vrms. The in-band IP3 is 18 dBm. By changing an external reference frequency, the passband width of the filter can be varied from 3 to 0.5 MHz.

TL;DR: In this article, an element using a piezoelectric characteristic, and a method for manufacturing the same, is described, and the SAW filter according to the invention is resistant to input wave of high power by employing ta-C or CNT as an acoustic wave transmission medium.
Abstract: Disclosed is an element using a piezoelectric characteristic, and in particular, an SAW filter and a method for manufacturing the same. The SAW filter according to the invention is resistant to input wave of high power by employing ta-C or CNT as an acoustic wave transmission medium. The method for manufacturing the SAW filter according to the invention simplified the manufacturing process and reduced a transmission loss as well noise.
