TL;DR: Using a radio-frequency ion trap to study ion-molecule reactions under isolated conditions, a direct experimental determination of reaction rate constants for the sequential oxidation of iodine anions by ozone at room temperature (300 K) is reported.
Abstract: Using a radio-frequency ion trap to study ion-molecule reactions under isolated conditions, we report a direct experimental determination of reaction rate constants for the sequential oxidation of iodine anions by ozone at room temperature (300 K). The results are R1: I- + O3 → IO- + O2, k1 = (7 ± 2) × 10-12 cm3 s-1; R2: IO- + O3 → IO2- + O2, k2 = (10 ± 2) × 10-9 cm3 s-1; R3: IO2- + O3 → IO3- + O2, k3 = (16 ± 2) × 10-9 cm3 s-1. More oxidized forms such as IO4- and IO5- were not observed. Additionally, we performed quantum chemical calculations to elucidate the energetics of these oxidation reactions.

TL;DR: In this paper, a general kinetic scheme of the Mn(II)-catalyzed oxidation of glucose by persulfate ions was suggested, and the effective activation energy is equal to 98 kJ/mol.
Abstract: The study of the kinetics of Mn(II)-catalyzed oxidation of glucose by persulfate ions showed that the process occurs via a chain radical mechanism. It is established that the reaction orders with respect to glucose and persulfate and manganese ions are close to unity. The effective activation energy is equal to 98 kJ/mol. A general kinetic scheme of the oxidation process is suggested. Analysis of the scheme with comparison of the contributions of competing reactions made it possible to establish the regime of the process under experimental conditions, to distinguish the key reactions, to develop a mathematical model of the process, and to calculate the ratio of rate constants of some elementary reactions.

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of the entrainment ratio (Kv ), the equivalence ratio ( ϕ ), and the inlet temperature (T in ) on CO formation were studied under three calculation conditions: (1) the range of Kv from 1 to 8 at T in = 1300 K, and (2) the ranges of ϕ from 0.6 to 1.6 at Tin in = 1000 K, at Kv ǫ = 3 and ϕ Ǫ ǔ = 1.

TL;DR: In this paper, the product distributions of iron-based catalyst represented by double ASF distributions characterized by two growth probabilities are given. But for higher carbon monoxide conversions, the results deviate substantially because the Fischer-Tropsch reaction highly depends on the hydrogen formed by the WGS as the carbon dioxide conversion increases.
