TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of the seismic soil-foundation-structure interaction (SFSI) on the dynamic response of various buildings were studied through 3D finite element method using ABAQUS software.
Abstract: The present research intends to study the effects of the seismic soil-foundation-structure interaction (SFSI) on the dynamic response of various buildings. Two methods including direct and Cone model were studied through 3D finite element method using ABAQUS software. Cone model as an approximate method to consider the SFSI phenomenon was developed and evaluated for both high and low rise buildings. Effect of soil nonlinearity, foundation rigidity and embedment as well as friction coefficient between soil-foundation interfaces during seismic excitation are investigated. Validity and performance of both approaches are evaluated as reference graphs for Cone model and infinite boundary condition, soil nonlinearity and amplification factor for direct method. A series of calculations by DeepSoil for inverse earthquake record modification was conducted. A comparison of the two methods was carried out by root-mean-square-deviation (RMSD) tool for maximum lateral displacement and story shear forces which verifies that Cone model results have good agreement with direct method. It was concluded that Cone method is a convenient, fast and rather accurate method as an approximate way to count for soil media.

TL;DR: In this paper, a method and device for concealing information as well as a method for extracting concealed information was proposed. But the method was based on the motion vector information of the P-frame macroblock of the non-IPCM macroblock within a set range.
Abstract: The invention discloses a method and device for concealing information as well as a method and device for extracting concealed information The method for concealing information comprises the following steps: judging whether a P-frame macroblock is an IPCM (intra-frame pulse code modulation) macroblock or not; when the P-frame macroblock is the IPCM macroblock, determining the information embedment strength of the IPCM macroblock according to the motion vector information of the P-frame macroblock of a coded non-IPCM macroblock within a set range; and according to the information embedment strength, embedding information to the IPCM macroblock The method and device provided by the invention take the IPCM macroblock as an information embedment carrier; the information embedment strength is determined according to the motion vector information of the P-frame macroblock of the non-IPCM macroblock within the set range; and according to the information embedment strength, the IPCM macroblock is subjected to information embedment to improve the information embedment amount of the embedment carrier The method and device for extracting concealed information can extract the concealed information from the IPCM macroblock according to the information embedment strength so as to effectively prevent the information quality of the embedded carrier from declining

TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose an analytical elasticity solution to the stress and displacement induced by a point load at an embedment depth in a half-space, where the displacements are induced by uniformly and triangularly distributed horizontal or vertical pressures.
