TL;DR: In this paper, various aspects of resin-bonded rock anchorages are examined using design data based on the results of pull-out tests on specimen anchorages, where the bonded bolt is loaded to failure, this point being determined in terms of deformation or loss of peak load, where it is assumed that the load is evenly distributed as a shear stress along the bonded anchor length.
Abstract: Various aspects of resin bonded rock anchorages are examined using design data based on the results of pull-out tests on specimen anchorages. In such tests the bonded bolt is loaded to failure, this point being determined in terms of deformation or loss of peak load, where it is assumed that the load is evenly distributed as a shear stress along the bonded anchor length. Tests were carried out to study the influence of high bond stresses at the loaded end of the anchor, and also the mechanism of anchorage failure. Results show axial stress and embedment for 750mm and 300mm bonded length bars. A formula is derived for shear stress at the steel/resin interface. /TRRL/

TL;DR: In this paper, the bond behavior between GFRP bars and OPC concretes is investigated by using beam-end test specimens, and the results indicate that the tensile and bond stress distribution along the embedment length are nonlinear and the nonlinearity changes with the load.

TL;DR: In this article, a theoretical approach based on Volkersen theory, assuming a bi-linear constitutive law is developed, and an experimental investigation of threaded rods from glulam elements is presented.

TL;DR: In this article, a cement paste-coating bars during penetration is investigated to increase bar bond by void filling, and the hypothesis of void filling is validated through analysis of paste embedment which occurred in the top 50% of penetration.
