TL;DR: In this article, calciumsulfoaluminate-ferrite clinker was produced using 35% of bauxite residue in combination with alumina, clay, limestone and gypsum.
28 citations
••
TL;DR: In dry-mortar-formulations calcium aluminate cement (CAC) is often used as a set accelerator for ordinary Portland cement (OPC) as discussed by the authors, which is able to delay not only the silicate reaction but also the renewed C3A dissolution of an OPC.

••
TL;DR: In this article, different products were formed at different periods in mixtures containing C3A + gypsum with either or both CaSO4 · 2H2O (0, 12.5, 25%) and CaCO3 ( 0, 12 5, 25%), followed by differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetry.

••
TL;DR: In this article, the gold ore tailings were used a siliceous raw material for cement production, and the results proved that the clinker phases of the cements produced with different addition of gold-ore tailings are 3CaO·SiO2, 2CaO•SiO•2, 3 CaO·Al2O3, and 4 CaO•Al•O3·Fe2O•3, respectively, and their hydration products are portlandite, calcium silicate hydrate, and ettringite.

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of mineral additions, including ground-granulated blast-furnace slag, steel slag (SS), cement and hydrated lime, and chemical additives, Na2SO4, CaCl2, Al2(SO4)3 and KOH, on the mechanical strengths of the systems were studied.
