TL;DR: The SEPTUM-Polarizer, equalized, choked (SPEC) feed element as mentioned in this paper is an antenna feed element that consists of a low axial-ratio circular-waveguide septum polarizer and a conical horn with a single choke/corrugation at the aperture.
Abstract: Antenna feed element performance is critical in obtaining low circular cross-polarization in multi-element feed arrays. The antenna feed element described in detail in this paper has been named the septum-polarizer, equalized, choked (SPEC) feed element. It consists of a low axial-ratio circular-waveguide septum polarizer and a conical horn with a single choke/corrugation at the aperture. This produces circularly symmetric, equalized E- and H-plane element patterns with low on-axis and off-axis axial ratios. Breadboard models of the SPEC feed element have been developed and measured results are provided. A flight hardware version of this feed element is being developed for satellite applications. These applications are for large antenna feed arrays that illuminate offset parabolic reflectors. In order to meet the low weight requirements, the flight SPEC feed elements will be constructed of carbon-cyanate-ester with electroless copper plating applied to the internal surfaces.

TL;DR: In this paper, a dual-polarized broadband horn antenna working at 75-500 MHz with coaxial input feed section is investigated, and new structures are introduced to support the huge dimensions and reduce the weight based on the precondition that the effect of these solutions to the low end performance is minimization.
Abstract: A novel dual-polarized broadband horn antenna working at 75–500 MHz with coaxial input feed section is investigated. Some new structures are introduced to support the huge dimensions and reduce the weight based on the precondition that the effect of these solutions to the low end performance is minimization. And an adjustable shorting plate is inserted on the bottom of the horn antenna to improve the return loss performance. Details of the horn antenna design and experimental results are presented and discussed.

TL;DR: In this article, a paraboloidal reflector, offset fed with a corrugated conical horn, was examined as a possible antenna for use in millimeter wave communications systems when minimization of interference is an important consideration.
Abstract: A paraboloidal reflector, offset fed with a corrugated conical horn, has been examined as a possible antenna for use in millimeter wave communications systems when minimization of interference is an important consideration. Low far-out and back-lobe radiation were primary objectives. Experimentally obtained data, representative of performance at 37 GHz, is presented. When appropriately shielded to limit spillover, levels more than 75 dB below the main beam maximum have been obtained in the far-out and back-lobe regions.

TL;DR: A horn-reflector microwave antenna has a reflector plate which is a section of a paraboloid and a flared feed horn for supplying microwave signals to the reflector.
Abstract: A horn-reflector microwave antenna has a reflector plate which is a section of a paraboloid, and a flared feed horn for supplying microwave signals to the reflector plate The horn has a conical section forming a circular aperture at the wide end, which is the end closer to the reflector plate, and a pyramidal section forming a square aperture at the narrow end, which is the end farther away from the reflector plate Microwave signals are supplied to the feed horn with the electrical field extending along a diagonal of the square aperture
