TL;DR: In this paper, the UV-or electron beam curing lacquer is used to replace the adhesive-bonded overlay films currently used as insulating coatings on flexible printed circuits, which latter must be applied under controlled climatic conditions to obtain the required sealing properties from the adhesive.
Abstract: Flexible printed circuits and wiring units consisting of a carrier of reinforced or non-reinforced plastics with a series of metallic conductor leads bonded to it, are provided with an insulating covering consisting of a UV - or electron beam curable lacquer. The UV-or electron beam curing lacquers are used to replace the adhesive-bonded overlay films currently used as insulating coatings on flexible printed circuits, which latter must be applied underr controlled climatic conditions to obtain the required sealing properties from the adhesive. The UV- and electron beam curing lacquers are easy to apply and are suitable for large scale prodn. processes. They give coatings with excellent mechanical and electrical properties, heat resistance (e.g. during soldering at 260 degrees C) and flexibility. The coating can be applied. e.g. by screen printing. The printed circuits re made in the known way on carriers such as fibre reinforced phenolic- or epoxy resins and films of polyester, polycarbonate, polyhydantoin, polymide or polysulphone resins.

TL;DR: In this paper, the rear light cluster has a three part plastic molding; a coloured lens a reflector array and a base section. The connections to the lamps are by a flexible printed circuit sheet clamped between the base and the reflector sections.
Abstract: The housing for the rear light cluster has a three part plastic moulding; a coloured lens a reflector array and a base section. The connections to the lamps is by a flexible printed circuit sheet clamped between the base and the reflector sections. The printed circuit sheet has provision around the cut-outs around each bulb for clipping on connector clips for the two contacts to the lamp. At one end of the sheet it is bent through 90 deg. to fit down one side of a simple moulded connector socket. This enables a prepared multi-plug to be connected in one operation.

TL;DR: In this paper, a multiple printed circuit is constructed with a sandwich construction with upper and lower plates, held together by a screwed bolt and nut assembly at the edges of each plate.
Abstract: The printed circuit has an elastic insulating layer with at least one conducting strip on its surface, terminating in a conducting contact plate. The contact plates (18) are formed, so that hollow, upwardly projecting contact projections (22) are produced. A layer of an elastomer (26) is provided under the insulating layer (14), with elevations (28) extending to the hollows (24). A multiple printed circuit may be formed with a sandwich construction with upper and lower plates, held together by a screwed bolt and nut assembly at the edges of each plate.
