TL;DR: In this paper, a method for the production of 2, 7-binitro fluorenone is described, which is characterized by comprising the following steps: (1), adding industrial 2,7-binito fluorenos, benzene series resolvent, sodium hydroxide and quaternary ammonium salt into four bottles; (2), carrying out air oxidation under the temperature of 90 to 100 DEGC, and reacting for 6 to 7 hours: (3), recovering solvent through reduced pressure distillation and crystallizing condensate; and (4),
Abstract: The invention relates to the technical field of the production of aromatic compound 2, 7-binitro fluorenone, particularly to a method for producing 2, 7-binitro fluorenone. The method for producing 2, 7-binitro fluorenone is characterized by comprising the following steps: (1), adding industrial 2, 7-binitro fluorenone, benzene series resolvent, sodium hydroxide and quaternary ammonium salt into four bottles; (2), carrying out air oxidation under the temperature of 90 to 100 DEGC, and reacting for 6 to 7 hours: (3), recovering solvent through reduced pressure distillation and crystallizing condensate; and (4), washing, alkali removing and drying so as to obtain the product of 2, 7-binitro fluorenone. The benzene series resolvent is toluene or xylene. Compared with the prior art, the invention has the benefits as follows: (1), the reaction temperature is low, the operation is simple and convenient, and the reaction conditions are moderate; (2), sodium hydroxide is taken as the catalyst, and the cost is low; (3), the benzene series resolvent can be depressurized, distilled, recovered and recycled, the wash water is easy to be treated, and pollutions to the environment are small; and (4), the purity of the gas phase chromatography of the product is higher than 99.1 percent, the yield is higher than 84.8 percent, and the production requirements are met.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a method for synthesizing fluorenone using a catalysts from 0-100% of tri-cobalt trioxide and copper oxide.
Abstract: The invention relates to a catalyst for synthesizing fluorenone and a preparation method and application thereof, and belongs to the technical field of catalysts. The catalyst is prepared from, by mass, 0-100% of tri-cobalt trioxide and 0-100% of copper oxide, and the sum of the mass percentages of the tri-cobalt trioxide and the copper oxide is 100%; the catalyst for synthesizing the fluorenone is prepared by a sol-gel method or a gel method. The catalyst has the advantages of low cost, high conversion rate, high selectivity, mild reaction condition, good stability and easy separation of reactants.

TL;DR: In this article, a spectrophotometric method applied for the study of (colored charge transfer complexes) CTC of PVK with TNF reveals the formation of 1:1 (A:D) complex, and formation of CTC with PVK and TNF.
Abstract: Carbazole based polymers are materials of considerable scientific and industrial interest due to their attractive features, such as hole-transporting, high charge-carrier mobility, and electroluminescent properties. Among carbazole polymers, a central place is reserved for poly (N-vinyl carbazole) (PVK) because it is easily synthesized, is soluble in common organic solvents and as the poly (N-vinyl carbazole)/2,4,7-trinitro-9- fluorenone (PVK/TNF) charge transfer complex is one of the bestknown organic photos conducting materials for application in electrophotography. it’s an electroluminescent material and emits strong fluorescence and long phosphorescence when excited with UV light. In the present research a spectrophotometric method applied for the study of (colored charge transfer complexes) CTC of PVK with TNF reveals the formation of 1:1 (A:D) complex, and formation of CTC with PVK and TNF, From the conductivity of the CT Complex, it is obtained that the concentration of the donor is affected when it reacts with the acceptor and that when we increase the concentration of the donor.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a polymerization method for electrophotographic imaging members and methods, which can be readily polymerized to polymers suitable for use in electrophotonography imaging.
Abstract: Disclosed are monomers of the formula: ##STR1## WHEREIN R is ##STR2## R' is hydrogen or methyl; R" is alkyl of 1-10 carbon atoms; X and Y are independently selected from the group consisting of NO 2 , halogen, cyano and --CF 3 ; Z is oxygen or dicyanomethylene; a and a' can range from 0-3; and n is 1-10. These monomers can be readily polymerized to polymers suitable for use in electrophotographic imaging members and methods.

TL;DR: In this paper, the lignans compounds are extracted from the raw materials including dried branches, leaves and/or fruits of schisandra chinensis, and the preparation method comprises the steps of extract extraction, organic solvent extraction, silica column chromatography and high pressure liquid chromatography separation.
Abstract: The invention discloses lignans compounds and a preparation method and application thereof. According to the structural formulas of the compounds, R1 is -OH, R2 is -OCH3, a molecular formula is C20H24O8, and one compound is named as marphenol E; and -OCH2O- is between R1 and R2, a molecular formula is C20H22O8, and the other compound is named as marphenol F. According to the preparation method, the lignans compounds are prepared from the raw materials including dried branches, leaves and/or fruits of schisandra chinensis. The preparation method comprises the steps of extract extraction, organic solvent extraction, silica column chromatography and high pressure liquid chromatography separation of the raw materials. The invention further discloses the application of the lignans compounds to preparation of anti-AIDS medicines. According to cytotoxicity detection on C8166 host cells and inhibition tests on an HIV-1IIIB-induced cytopathic effect (CPE) of the C8166, the two fluorenone compounds, namely the marphenol E and the marphenol F, have good anti-HIV-1 activity, the EC50 values of the two fluorenone compounds are respectively 3.47 mug/mL and 2.97 mug/mL, and the therapeutic index (IT) values of the two fluorenone compounds are respectively 21.18 and 27.64. The fluorenone compounds have novel structures and high activity, and can serve as guiding compounds of the anti-AIDS medicines.
