TL;DR: A medicinal preparation for treatment of viral-etiology diseases contains the bisulphite compound of 2-fluorenonyl-glyoxal in combination with a pharmaceutical vehicle or unctuous base.
Abstract: A medicinal preparation for treatment of viral-etiology diseases contains the bisulphite compound of 2-fluorenonyl-glyoxal in combination with a pharmaceutical vehicle or unctuous base A method of producing the bisulphite compound of 2-fluorenonyl-glyoxal, viz, the active principle of said medicinal preparation, consists in that fluorene is acylated by dichloroacetyl chloride in the presence of aluminum chloride and phosphoryl chloride in an organic solvent, the resultant 2-ω-dichloroacetylfluorene is oxidized by the salts of chromic acid in an acetic-acid medium at 50°-90° C into 2-ω-dichloroacetylfluorenone which is made to interact with morpholine at 50°-98° C to form 2-ω-dimorpholinoacetylflourenone, or otherwise, fluorenone is acylated by acetic anhydride in an organic solvent in the presence of aluminum chloride, the resultant 2-acetylfluorene is oxidized by chromic acid or by the salts thereof in an acetic acid medium at 50°-90° C to obtain 2-acetylfluorenone which is brominated in an organic solvent at 60°-110° C, the resultant 2-ω-dibromoacetylfluorenone is reacted with morpholine at 50°-98° C to form 2-ω-dimorpholinoacetylfluorenone the latter is hydrolyzed by dilute mineral acids at 20°-100° C into 2-fluorenonyl-glyoxal hydrate which is then made to react with sodium bisulphite in an aqueous-alcohol medium at 60°-80° C to isolate the final product

TL;DR: In this article, a method of producing a crystal polymorph of 9,9-bis(4-(2-hydroxyethoxy)phenyl)fluorene, comprising the steps of reacting fluorenone and 2-phenoxyethanol in the presence of a heteropolyacid, was presented.
Abstract: A method of producing a crystal polymorph of 9,9-bis(4-(2-hydroxyethoxy)phenyl)fluorene, comprising the steps of
reacting fluorenone and 2-phenoxyethanol in the presence of a heteropolyacid, initiating deposition of 9,9-bis(4-(2-hydroxyethoxy)phenyl)fluorene at lower than 50° C. from the resultant mixture to obtain a crude product of 9,9-bis(4-(2-hydroxyethoxy)phenyl)fluorene, dissolving the crude product in at least one solvent selected from the group consisting of aromatic hydrocarbon solvents, ketone solvents and ester solvents, and initiating deposition of 9,9-bis(4-(2-hydroxyethoxy)phenyl)fluorene at 50° C. or higher.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed to increase the speed of response and the SN ratio by forming a photoconductive film mainly comprising at least one kind of a fluorenone compound, an alpha-substituted stilbene compound, a diarylmethane compound and a pyrazoline compound.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To increase the speed of response and the SN ratio by forming a photoconductive film mainly comprising at least one kind of a fluorenone compound, an alpha-substituted stilbene compound, a diarylmethane compound, an anthracene compound, a hydrazone compound, a divinyl benzene compound and a pyrazoline compound and at lest one kind of metal-free phthalocyanine or metallic phthalocyanine. CONSTITUTION:A picture-reading equal magnification sensor has a photoelectric conversion element constituted by shaping a discrete electrode, a common electrode and a photoconductive film mainly comprising at lest one kind of a fluorenone compound, an alpha-substituted stilbene compound, a diarylmethane compound, an anthracene compound, a hydrazone compound, a divinyl benzene compound and a pyrazoline compound and at least one kind of metal-free phthalocyanine or metallic phthalocyanine onto an insulating substrate. Accordingly, the speed of response and SN ratio of the long-sized equal magnification sensor can be increased.

TL;DR: In this paper, a new method for producing 9,9-bis(4-(2-hydroxyethoxy)phenyl)fluorene crystal which shows a melting peak by a differential scan calorimetry in a temperature region of 115-125°C and has a bulk density of 0.60-0.75 g/cm.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for producing 9,9-bis(4-(2-hydroxyethoxy)phenyl)fluorene crystal which shows a melting peak by a differential scan calorimetry in a temperature region of 115-125°C and has a bulk density of 0.60-0.75 g/cm.SOLUTION: A method for preparing purified crystal of 9,9-bis(4-(2-hydroxyethoxy)phenyl)fluorene includes reacting fluorenone and phenoxy ethanol to obtain rough crystal of 9,9-bis(4-(2-hydroxyethoxy)phenyl)fluorene, and purifying the rough crystal to enhance a degree of purity to at least 99%. A method for obtaining 9,9-bis(4-(2-hydroxyethoxy)phenyl)fluorene crystal includes: dissolving the purified crystal in a mixed solvent of acetonitrile and methanol of which a temperature is controlled to -20°C to 5°C to prepare a solution; precipitating the crystal in the solution; and separating and drying the precipitated crystal to obtain the 9,9-bis(4-(2-hydroxyethoxy)phenyl)fluorene crystal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
