Abstract: Differences between male participants in different kinds of sport with regard to personal, domestic, social and formal relationships. A review of the relevant literature has yielded a significant relationship between personality and the social structure of sport. Differences occur between participants and nonparticipants in sport, and among participants in different kinds of sport. The object of this study was to compare male participants in rugby, tennis, athletics, cricket, swimming, squash and karate with regard to their personal, home, social and formal relationships. Significant differences were found.
