TL;DR: In this article, a large-scale synthesis of transition metal chalcogenide in its nanoregime by an element-directed, less hazardous, template-free, inexpensive aqueous solution method was described.
Abstract: The present study describes large-scale synthesis of transition metal chalcogenide in its nanoregime by an element-directed, less hazardous, template-free, inexpensive aqueous solution method. Nearly homogeneous green luminescent copper telluride (Cu2Te) nanoparticles (NPs) have been synthesized in a single reaction at 70 °C within 9 h by a wet chemical method. The method ensures almost complete utilization of the precursors with a very high productive yield. The product was well characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV−visible spectroscopy (UV−vis), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), photoluminescence spectroscopy (PL), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), energy dispersive X-ray diffraction (EDX), and atomic force microscopy (AFM) techniques. XRD, TEM, and HRTEM analysis revealed that the diameters of the particles are in the range of 25−30 nm. The described protocol allows a precise control and a synchronized isolation of ali...

TL;DR: In this paper, a combination of sub-Doppler resolution laser-Stark data obtained with a CO laser and Fourier transform data obtained from a Bomem interferometer was used to analyze the 5.6-μm band of HCOOH, which is the strong carbonyl stretch mode.

TL;DR: In this article, the structural and magnetic properties of the as-prepared samples were studied using powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), TEM, UV-Vis absorption spectra and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) measurements.

TL;DR: More than 8000 completely resolved rotational lines in Cs2 have been measured with the techniques of Fourier transform spectroscopy, Doppler-free polarization, and optical optical double resonance.
Abstract: More than 8000 completely resolved rotational lines in the E 1Σ+u →X 1Σ+g, E 1Σ+g →(2)1Σ+g, E 1Σ+u →(1)1Πg, E 1Σ+u →(3)1Σ+g, D 1Σ+u →(2)1Σ+g, C 1Σu →X 1Σ+g, and D 1Σ+u →X 1Σ+g transitions of Cs2 have been accurately measured with the techniques of Fourier transform spectroscopy, Doppler‐free polarization spectroscopy, and optical optical double resonance. The wave numbers of all these rotational lines were determined with an accuracy of 1 to 5×10−3 cm−1. A thorough and simultaneous analysis of all the measured data yields molecular constants, potential energy curves, and dissociation energies for six different excited electronic states of the Cs2 molecule.

TL;DR: In this article, the degradation of dyes (methylene blue, direct blue 71, direct yellow 8) by a series of titania-supported catalysts generated in situ via the impregnation of TiCl4 onto the series of zeolite, which was synthesized using rice husks as the silicon source, was individually evaluated.
