TL;DR: In this paper, the experimental results of implementing a multi-scroll chaotic oscillator by using the commercially available CFOA AD844 are presented, and the frequency limitations are due to the nonideal characteristics of the current-feedback operational amplifier (CFOA) based SNLF block.
Abstract: The current-feedback operational amplifier (CFOA) allows us to implement any kind of circuit useful in analogue signal processing applications. However, it has limited performance in implementing nonlinear circuits. That way, this investigation highlights the experimental results of implementing a multi-scroll chaotic oscillator by using the commercially available CFOA AD844. The chaotic oscillator is based on saturated nonlinear function (SNLF) series, and we show and discuss its frequency limitations to generate 3- to 10-scrolls from 1 kHz to 100 kHz. Finally, we conclude that the frequency limitations are due to the nonideal characteristics of the CFOA-based SNLF block, imposed by the AD844.

TL;DR: A system of ordinary differential equations is constructed that models what are currently thought to be the important molecule mechanisms involved in phototransduction: this includes consideration of both intracellular enzyme kinetics and the properties of light-insensitive and light-sensitive conductances in the cone membrane.

TL;DR: A total charge parity measurement is demonstrated by detecting the radio frequency signal that is reflected by a lumped-element resonator coupled to a single InAs nanowire double quantum dot, allowing accurate measurements of the interdot tunnel coupling and the resonator-charge coupling rate g(c)/2π~17 MHz.
Abstract: We demonstrate a total charge parity measurement by detecting the radio frequency signal that is reflected by a lumped-element resonator coupled to a single InAs nanowire double quantum dot. The high frequency response of the circuit is used to probe the effects of the Pauli exclusion principle at interdot charge transitions. Even parity charge transitions show a striking magnetic field dependence that is due to a singlet-triplet transition, while odd parity transitions are relatively insensitive to a magnetic field. The measured response agrees well with cavity input-output theory, allowing accurate measurements of the interdot tunnel coupling and the resonator-charge coupling rate g(c)/2π~17 MHz.

TL;DR: A two-level neural network scheme for finite element (FE) model updating in which both the structural parameters and the damping ratios are updated is presented, resulting in about 50% reduction of the errors in the updated parameters as compared to the anticipated errors from the sensitivity analysis.

TL;DR: In this article, a high birefringence fiber-delay line filter is proposed to overcome the limitation of the frequency response of an optical fiber delay line filter imposed by optical coherence, giving a response free of optical interference noise and tunable by temperature.
Abstract: The authors propose a novel technique for overcoming the limitation of the frequency response of an optical fibre delay line filter imposed by optical coherence. A high birefringence fibre based filter is demonstrated, giving a response free of optical interference noise and tunable by temperature.
