TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a utility model for an LNG (liquefied natural gas) power ship, where the two LNG storage tanks are cascaded and transport LNG to the first buffer tank and the low-pressure vaporizer via an immersed pump inside the LNG tank.
Abstract: The utility model relates to a fuel storage and supply system for an LNG (liquefied natural gas) power ship. The fuel storage and supply system comprises two LNG storage tanks, two buffer tanks, a high-pressure pump, a high-pressure vaporizer, a low-pressure vaporizer, a cold energy utilization device, a gas heater, a reliquefaction device, an auxiliary boiler and an exhaust boiler, wherein the two LNG storage tanks are cascaded and transport LNG to the first buffer tank and the low-pressure vaporizer via an LNG immersed pump inside the LNG storage tank; the first buffer tank is connected with a cold energy utilization heat exchanger via the high-pressure pump, and the cold energy utilization heat exchanger and the cold energy utilization device form a coolant circulating system; the cold energy utilization heat exchanger is connected with the high-pressure vaporizer; the high-pressure vaporizer is connected with the second buffer tank; the low-pressure vaporizer is connected with a dual-fuel diesel generator; and the second buffer tank is connected with a dual-fuel main diesel. By the fuel storage and supply system, the problems of high pressure of BOG gas in the LNG storage tank during long-time mooring and ship repair and methane discharge caused by high pressure of the storage tank are solved.
