TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed to reduce the SO3 concn. at the outlet of combustion waste gas to zero and to prevent the generation of blue smoke by equipping an alkali charging device for charging alkali powder at the place at which the temp. of the combustion waste gases is higher than a specified temperature.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the SO3 concn. at the outlet of combustion waste gas to zero and to prevent the generation of blue smoke by equipping an alkali charging device for charging alkali powder at the place at which the temp. of the combustion waste gas is higher than a specified temp. at the upstream side of a desulfurizing device in the treatment of the combustion waste gas containing gaseous SO3. SOLUTION: In the flue gas treating device of a boiler, a denitration device 2, an air preheater 3, a device 5 for recovering heat of a gas heater, an electric dust collector 4, a desulfurizer 6, a reheater 8 of the gas heater and a smoke stack are arranged successively toward the downstream side from a boiler main body 1, and a calcium carbonate charging device 15 is connected to the upstream side of the air preheater 3. The calcium carbonate charging device 15 charges calcium carbonate at the place at which the temp. of the combustion waste gas is higher than 90 deg.C to the combustion waste gas from which nitrogen oxides are removed at the denitration device 2 and neutralizes the SO3 in the combustion waste gas. The contact with the SO3 is promoted and the complete removal is realized by keeping the specific surface area of calcium carbonate particles at >=10 m2/g.

TL;DR: A method for minimizing corrosion and the build-up of deposits on surfaces of a flue-gas system exposed to moist substances and elevated temperatures, and particularly those surfaces which are used to convey other additives to the system and the surfaces of gas/gas heaters which receive the output from scrubbers, is presented in this paper.
Abstract: A method for minimizing corrosion and the build-up of deposits on surfaces of a flue-gas system exposed to moist substances and elevated temperatures, and particularly those surfaces which are used to convey other additives to the system and the surfaces of gas/gas heaters which receive the output from scrubbers, which method involves adding to the system, particularly in those conduits and at the surfaces of the gas/gas heater, generally inert bulking agents such as perlite and vermiculite in expanded form, such agents, apparently by acting under the operating conditions to which they are subjected to retain substantial quantities of water without becoming dissolved, accomplishing the desired results.

TL;DR: In this paper, a combined low-temperature cold starting device for a fuel cell power system and a control method was proposed to solve the problem of difficult startup by adopting different heating modes under a low temperature state so as to ensure the stable operation of the fuel cell.
Abstract: The invention belongs to the technical field of fuel cell starting devices, relates to a combined low-temperature cold starting device for a fuel cell power system and a control method, and solves a problem that the fuel cell deals with difficult startup by adopting different heating modes under a low-temperature state so as to ensure the stable operation of the fuel cell. The combined low-temperature cold starting device is provided with a temperature sensor a, an electric heater, a liquid coolant circulating pump a, a power battery and an electric heater which are used for an electric heaterheating start mode, a temperature sensor b, a liquid coolant circulating pump b, a combustion gas heater and a fuel cell stack which are used for a high-temperature gas heating start mode, a temperature sensor c, a mixed gas heater and a fuel cell stack which are used for a fuel cell stack electrode catalytic heating start mode. The invention further provides a control method of the combined low-temperature cold starting device for the fuel cell power system, which selects different start modes through detecting the temperature.
