Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve reduction efficiency extremely, and to obtain molded ferro coke from a mixture of coal and iron ore continuously, by circulating a by- product gas as a reducing agent through a furnace repeatedly. CONSTITUTION:The molding device 2 of a mixed raw material of coal and iron ore and the storage tank 3 of the molded raw material are set below the blending tank 1 of the raw material of coal and iron ore, having an outlet and inlet of a by-product gas. The by-product gas channel 6 which is opened to the top of the shaft furnace 4 having a communicating hole to the storage tank 3 of the molded raw material at the upper part and an outlet of red-hot coke at the bottom, partially communicated through the by-product gas heater 5 to the lower part of the shaft furnace 4, and partially communicated to the blending tank 1 of the raw material is set. The by-product gas is heated to a temperature required for carbonization and reduction of briguette, it as a high-temperature gas is refed from the lower part of the shaft furnace 4 to the furnace, so that ferro coke having improved reduction efficiency can be produced continuously and energy is reduced.

Abstract: The invention provides a method of testing sour natural gas by a) removing H2S from the gas stream, b) converting H2S to elemental sulfur, and c) recovering elemental sulfur. The invention also provides a substantially mobile system for testing sour natural gas including vehicles allowing the equipment to be operated on surfaces such as the flat beds of trailers. The system features equipment that may be mounted within one or more support structures situated on a mobile vehicle, such as, for instance the flat bed of a trailer. The one or more support structures hold each piece of equipment substantially fixed in place on the vehicles. Each surface such as the flat bed of a trailer may carry one, two or more pieces of equipment. The equipment may include, for instance, an air or oxygen compressor, a knockout vessel, a gas heater, an air heater, a cooler, a molten sulfur separator and a thermal oxidizer.
