TL;DR: In this article, a gear pump is integrally joined to a shaft (16) which is constructed as hollow shaft and on which a hub (24) with a magnet (11) is disposed as part of a magnetic coupling of the gear pump.
Abstract: A gear pump (1) comprises a pump housing (2) in which two stationary journals (12,13) are disposed. On the journals (12,13) a driving pump wheel (7) and a driven pump wheel (8) are mounted. The driving pump wheel (7) in the example is integrally joined to a shaft (16) which is constructed as hollow shaft and on which a hub (24) with a magnet (11) is disposed as part of a magnetic coupling of the gear pump (1). With this construction a wear of the journals (12,13) in their bearing region in the pump housing (2) under the action of aggressive cleaning agents such as acetic acid is prevented because the journals (12 and 13) do not rotate in their bearings. On the other hand, by provision of the shaft (16) constructed as hollow shaft the drive connection is established between the driving pump wheel (7) and the magnet (11) forming part of the magnetic coupling, and wear of the shaft (16 ) rotating on the journal (12) is prevented by constructing said shaft from a particularly anti-frictional plastic which is also used for the pump wheels (7 and 8).

TL;DR: In this article, a volumetric gear pump was used as a pump and as an atomizer for the permanent atomization of liquid fuel into Diesel engines, whereby pipes for delivering liquid fuels and additives, such as oil, open through jets into said air induction pipe.
Abstract: Device for the permanent atomization of liquid fuel into Diesel engines comprising a volumetric pump interposed in the engine air induction pipe, whereby pipes for delivering liquid fuels and additives, such as oil, open through jets into said air induction pipe, upstream of the volumetric gear pump operated simultaneously as a pump and as an atomizer.

TL;DR: In this article, the numerical modeling approach based on the lumped parameters and control volume concepts is reviewed, especially for gear teeth within the meshing zone, with some reasonable assumptions including instantaneous angular positions, orifice transitions and imagined control volumes with internal flows.
Abstract: Components in gear pumps usually involve complex geometrical arrangements in order to achieve the desired performance. The use of lumped parametric models is considered the most accurate and effective method for investigation of the associated design issues. In this study, the numerical modelling approach based on the lumped parameters and control volume concepts is reviewed, especially for gear teeth within the meshing zone. To apply the approach to the entire gear pump, control volume concepts are generalized to all gear pockets and flow orifices with some reasonable assumptions. The assumptions include instantaneous angular positions, orifice transitions and imagined control volumes with internal flows. The fluid dynamics and pump performance, which even have the measurement difficulties, can be estimated to investigate and optimize the design parameters of gears by the model. A simulation example and its experimental results of a gear machine are presented to validate the proposed approach in this art...

TL;DR: The overall hydraulic electric forklift hydraulic system comprises the hoist oil cylinder, slanting oil cylinder formed slanting lifting device, steering device mainly made of the deflector and the steering oil cylinder as mentioned in this paper, hydraulic motor, hydraulic motor brake and its speed regulating valve.
Abstract: The overall hydraulic electric forklift hydraulic system comprises the hoist oil cylinder, slanting oil cylinder formed slanting lifting device, steering device mainly made of the deflector and the steering oil cylinder, hydraulic motor, hydraulic motor brake and its speed regulating valve. The above mentioned three devices can get hydraulic energy form a generator driven gear pump, the said gear pump generated hydraulic energy divided into two ways, one passing through the optimal valve supplying to the said steering device and several valve controlled lifting device, the other way going to the control valve and converting brake valve drive device through change-over valve. It can replace variable pump for the control of the generator gear pump through electricity, getting rid of the low efficiency, big energy consumption, high oil temperature, long time damage to the hydraulic motor, traveling, and poor brake stability.

TL;DR: In this article, a combined compressor and pump has two parallel shafts journalled in a housing having a compressible fluid inlet and a compressed fluid outlet, and a cooling jacket circulates within a coolant jacket in the housing and is circulated by the gear pump.
Abstract: A combined compressor and pump has two parallel shafts journalled in a housing having a compressible fluid inlet and a compressible fluid outlet. Rotors are mounted on each of the shafts for forming a roots type compressor and compressing fluid from the compressible fluid inlet. One shaft of the compressor, which forms a supercharger for an engine, is driven by the engine, and the other shaft is driven in synchronization therewith by a pair of meshing gears mounted on the shafts, the meshing gears being constructed so as to form a gear pump. A coolant circulates within a coolant jacket in the housing and is circulated by the gear pump. The heated coolant may be circulated through a closed loop including a heat exchanger and a bypass passage for bypassing the heat exchanger during low temperature operating conditions.
