Abstract: The invention discloses a method for manufacturing a bevel gear of an axle gear box for diesel locomotives, which comprises the steps of blank forging, blank heat-treatment, gear-blank processing, gear-shape processing, gear-end processing, gear-surface heat-treatment, precise reference modification and gear-shape finish-machining, wherein the step of blank heat-treatment comprises the sub-steps of normalizing and thermal refining; the step of gear-blank processing comprises the sub-steps of rough turning and finish turning; the step of gear-shape processing comprises the sub-steps of gear milling, gear hobbing or gear shaping; the step of gear-surface heat-treatment comprises the sub-steps of nitriding, surface quenching and tempering; the step of precise reference modification comprises the sub-steps of end face modification and centre hole modification; and the step of gear-shape finish-machining comprises the sub-steps of gear grinding and polishing. By using the method disclosed by the invention, the production efficiency of the bevel gear can be improved, and the consumption amount and production cost of raw materials can be reduced; and meanwhile, the method is simple in process, and the manufactured bevel gear is long in service life.

Abstract: The invention provides an inner gear machining method and a special gear shaping clamp. The processing method comprises the following steps: firstly carrying out rough machining on wheel teeth by virtue of the common shaping machine, adopting an indexing mechanism and a shaping tool with a trapezoidal cutting edge to machine gear grooves in a one-by-one manner, obtaining a trapezoidal middle tooth profile which is very close to the final tooth profile of an inner gear, and remaining a small amount of fine-machined allowance; and then adopting the shaping tool with a conjugate tooth profile on the gear shaping machine to carry out fine machining on the wheel teeth. The special gear shaping clamp comprises a base, pressing plates, an adjusting screw, a screw, a pressing nut, a steel ball, a retaining frame, a sliding block, sliding block bolts, sliding block nuts, a positioning rod and a positioning pin, and the special gear shaping clamp has the main functions of aligning the peripheral positions of the inner gear and the gear shaping tool and clamping a workpiece. In the inner gear machined by adopting the method, the gear shaping efficiency can be effectively improved, the wear of the gear shaping tool can be reduced and the machining accuracy of the wheel tooth can be improved.

At least one linear motor reciprocates the ram along a stroke axis relative to the saddle. The ram also carries a rotary drive and a spindle that reciprocate in unison with the ram. The rotary drive directly drives the spindle to journal the spindle through incremental angular positions during gear shaping.

The included angle between the output shaft of the variable-angle reversing mechanism and the gear shaping cutter axis of rotation can be changed between 0 degree to 90 degrees, thus solving the problem of the realization of gear shaping machining under the condition of not changing the reversing mechanism of the orthogonal unbiased face gear and nonorthogonal unbiased face gear with different angles. In the invention, in the premise of not increasing manufacturing cost, not changing the cutter and not increasing the manufacturing difficulty, the problem of the manufacturing of the orthogonal unbiased face gear and nonorthogonal unbiased face gear with different angles by the same reversing mechanism in the processing of the gear shaping, thus having dramatic substantial characteristics and prominent improvement.

Abstract: The tooth profile error of a gear shaping cutter made by the lengthwise-reciprocating grinding process (LRGP) is usually corrected by modifying the grinding wheel profile. However, such grinding wheel modification cannot eliminate the twisting profile error along the face of the shaping cutter. A kinematic modified roll motion for generating a shaping cutter is proposed to minimize such twisted profile errors even after cutter resharpening. The tooth profile errors of the work gears generated by the shaping cutter with various resharpening depths are represented as a novel topographic error map. Based on the error map and its sensitivity matrix, the roll ratio between the shaping cutter and the grinding wheel stroke is modified to reduce the twisted profile error as illustrated by the numerical examples. Combining this modified roll motion modification and the grinding wheel profile correction, the high accuracy resharpening depth of the LRGP helical shaping cutter is increased.

Abstract: To solve the difficulity of transforming a topology optimization design proposal of a mid-bed of vertical computer numerical control gear shaping machine tool to a manufacturable design in engineering,topology optimization model with manufacturing constraints was established.Topology optimization for mid-bed was conducted on OptiStruct package.Two topology optimization results of volume fraction constraints and volume fraction with manufacturing constraints were obtained.Comparing and analyzing the topology optimization results of two constraints,the optimal design shows that the mid-bed structure based on topology optimization with manufacturing constraints has a better castibility.
