The displacers are actuated by fluid-pressure as described in Specification 724,262. The working positions of the cutter are adjusted by moving the abutments 84, 85 longitudinally. Abstract: The utility model provides a high-speed and heavy-load extensive cycloid gear which comprises an extensive cycloid gear and an extensive flat cycloid spline. The extensive cycloid gear and the extensive flat cycloid spline can be combined into various transmission pairs such as an inner gearing, an outer gearing, a gear and a spline meshing. The extensive cycloid gear completely conforms to natural laws, involvement does not exist, and amendment is not required. Compared with an involute gear, the meshing sliding rate of the extensive cycloid gear is only about 20% and is close to pure rolling. The high-speed and heavy-load extensive cycloid gear is strong in anti-gluing capacity, not prone to abrasion, small in noise, low in temperature rising, and large in root thickness, and loading capacity is about 1.5 times of the involute gear. The high-speed and heavy-load extensive cycloid gear is especially suitable for high-speed and heavy-load transmission. Hobbing and gear shaping machining is adopted, so that the minimum teeth number is five rootless undercutting. Under the condition that output power is equal and transmission ratio is approximate, modulus can be reduced, and gear ratio is reduced to corresponding less teeth number, so that the size of a transmission system is reduced by about 40%, and service life is prolonged by more than three times.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity of the gear by significantly shortening the manufacturing time of a gear and remarkably improving the operational efficiency of a gear shaping device. SOLUTION: The gear shaping apparatus 10 for forging and forming a gear stock 12 has a fixed die 58 with a fixed gear cutting portion 82 formed thereon, and a movable die 96 with a movable gear cutting portion 112 formed thereon. A gear cutting portion 114 is demarcated by the fixed gear cutting portion 82 and the movable gear cutting portion 112. The gear stock 12 is pressed by a punch 106 downwardly in the perpendicular direction, and the material of the gear stock 12 is allowed to flow in the gear cutting 114 to form a tooth profile portion 118 of a gear 116. The fixed gear cutting portion 82 and the movable gear cutting portion 112 are joined with each other in a state inclined by a predetermined angle to the axial direction.
