TL;DR: In this article, the effective profile of the rack-type and pinion-type gear shaping cutters for spur gears has been analyzed and corrected to obtain a profile close to the theoretical form on grinding the rake face.
Abstract: Gear shaping cutters are provided with top-relief and rake angles. As a result of this, the profile representing the cutting edge is modified. This paper deals with the method of obtaining the effective profile on the rack-type and pinion-type cutters for spur gears. Analysis of the effective profile shows that the effective profile of the rack-type cutter is actually a straight-sided tooth form with different pressure angle and tooth thickness at the reference (pitch) line. In the case of the pinion-type cutter, tooth thinning takes place and the effective profile could not be identified with any involute form.This paper also deals with the methods of correcting the cutter profile form so that profile close to the theoretical form can be obtained on grinding the rake face. This approach would be quite useful to the designers and manufacturers of the shaping cutters.

The utility model discloses following beneficial effect still has: the utility model discloses not only solved when not having gear shaping machine or work piece to surpass gear shaping machine working stroke, utilized current horizontal milling machine, spline machining in the next realization axle, design simple structure, the clamping alignment is convenient, easily operation, milling process is efficient in gear shaping efficiency simultaneously.

Abstract: The invention discloses a production process of an inner gear ring gear. The production process comprises the following steps that S1, a proper blank material is selected, hot die forging is carried out on the blank material through a hot die forging press machine, the blank material is subjected to upsetting, pre-forging and final forging by adopting an upsetting and blank making method to be forged into a round cake type forge piece so as to prepare the round cake type blank material; and S2, isothermal normalizing treatment is carried out on the round cake type blank material prepared in the S1, wherein the round cake type blank material is placed into a normalizing furnace device, the round cake type blank material is heated to a certain temperature, heat preservation is carried out for a proper period of time, the temperatures of different parts of the round cake type blank material are homogenized, the transition of the metallographic structure is uniformly completed at the temperature, and then cooling is carried out on the round cake type blank material by adopting a rapid cooling mode. According to the production process, gear shaping and perforating are convenient and rapid, the abrasion of a tool is reduced, and the machining efficiency can be effectively improved; and meanwhile, the normalizing effect of a part can be improved, so that the overall quality of the part is greatly improved.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To restrain frictional resistance to rotary motion by providing a passage through which oil is fed onto the guide surface of a guide retainer, passing through a rotatingly sliding faces of the cutter spindle box body and said guide retainer which supports the guide shaft fixed to a cutter spindle, in a gear shaping machine. CONSTITUTION:In this static pressure guide, a sleeve 15 is rotated by means of the rotation of a worm 9 through a worm wheel 16, and a cutter spindle 1 is rotated by means of a guide retainer 13 which rotates together with this sleeve 15. The sliding faces of the guide retainer 13 and a guide shaft 2 are engaged with each other on their threaded surfaces in the axial direction, allowing a cutter spindle 1 to make a screw motion centering around its axis by means of axially reciprocating motion of the guide shaft 2 provided in an integrated form with the cutter spindle 1. In this case, oil fed to fluid restrictors 14 of the guide retainer 13 are fed from a cutter spindle box body 17, and the oil fed to the body 17 is introduced to the fluid restrictors 14 through the rotatingly sliding part between the body 17 and the sleeve 15.
