TL;DR: In this article, an expellent for noxious mollusks having specific fatal action on a slug, such as acusta filica, acustas despecta, etc., immediate effect, comprising glutaraldehyde as an active ingredient.
Abstract: PURPOSE:An expellent for noxious mollusks having specific fatal action on a slug, such as acusta filica, acusta despecta, etc., immediate effect, capable of expelling the noxious mollusks securely by its low concentration, comprising glutaraldehyde as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:The titled expellent comprising glutaraldehyde (pentanedial) which has been used as a germicide, a tanning agent for leather, or fixing agent for specimen of electron microscope, as an active ingredient. The compound may be used directly, a carrier and other auxiliary may be added to it depening upon purposes of use, and preferably the blend is pharmaceutically manufactured into granules, dust, wettable powder, solution, aeroseol, etc. by conventional method and used. The amount of the active ingredient in the pharmaceutical preparation is 2-50wt%.

TL;DR: In this paper, a preparation method and an application of an imprinted material with a collagen and chitosan blend as a functional monomer, EDTA (ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid) as a crosslinking agent and Cu(II) as the template was described.
Abstract: The invention relates to a preparation method and an application of an imprinted material with a collagen and chitosan blend as a functional monomer, EDTA (ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid) as a crosslinking agent and Cu(II) as a template. The preparation method of the material comprises steps as follows: collagen and chitosan are dissolved in an acetate solution in a certain proportion, a certain amount of EDTA is slowly added to the solution, the mixture is stirred at the room temperature for a certain time period, then a proper amount of glutaraldehyde is added, a copper sulfate solution with certain concentration is added, and the mixture is stirred for a certain period of time and dried at a low temperature. The mixture is washed alternately with hydrochloric acid and a sodium hydroxide solution to remove the template Cu , then washed repeatedly with distilled water and dried at a low temperature, and the Cu(II) imprinted material can be obtained. The material has good Cu removal capacity, the mechanical strength of chitosan can be improved through blending of collagen and chitosan, and the Cu removal capacity of chitosan can also be improved.

TL;DR: In this article, a method for producing Korean paper by coating gelatin on the surface of Korean paper and treating with a curing agent such as glutaraldehyde is provided, which improves dry and wet tensile strength and waterproof properties.
Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for producing Korean paper by coating gelatin on the surface of Korean paper and treating with a curing agent such as glutaraldehyde is provided. It improves dry and wet tensile strength and waterproof properties of Korean paper. CONSTITUTION: Korean paper is coated with gelatin, treated with glutaraldehyde at a pH of 6 to 8, preferably pH 7 and then dried. To control the pH value, an aqueous caustic soda solution is used. The wet tensile strength exhibits 4.32kgf/cm2 in a transverse direction and 5.29kgf/cm2 in a longitudinal direction, respectively after treatment with the glutaraldehyde.
