Abstract: This research was conducted with the aim of developing previous studies that have successfully applied the science of graphology to analyze digital handwriting and characteristics of his personality through shape based feature extraction, which in the present study will be applied one method of psychological tests commonly used by psychologists to recognize human’s personality that is Enneagram. The Enneagram method in principle will classify the personality traits of a person into nine types through a series of questions, which then calculated the amount of the overall weight of the answer. Thickness is what will provide direction personality type, which will then be matched with the personality type of the result of the graphology analysis of the handwriting. Personality type of handwritten analysis results is processed based on the personality traits that are the result of the identification of a combination of four dominant form of handwriting through the software output of previous studies, that Slant (tilt writing), Size (font size), Baseline, and Breaks (respite each word). From the results of this research can be found there is a correlation between personality analysis based on the psychology science to the graphology science, which results matching personality types by 81.6% of 49 respondents data who successfully tested. Abstract: This article discusses both the use of graphology in German psychiatry (1870-1930) and the use of handwriting in psychiatric experiments. The examination of handwriting was part of an ensemble of diagnostic tools. Although disorders of handwriting seemed to indicate psychic diseases, graphology did not seem the right method to produce valid observations. Nevertheless, psychiatrists began to incorporate the process of writing into research and diagnosis and to make the process of handwriting an experimental field. Emil Kraepelin invented an apparatus - the so-called Writing-Scale - with which he could measure the dynamics of writing in various dimensions and, in particular, the pressure of movements. The experiments produced a huge amount of data, but the psychiatrists were unable to interpret them in a comprehensible way. Although psychiatrists failed to grasp the psychopathology in handwriting, they discovered a systemic behaviour of the organism controlled by feedback.

Abstract: Graphology is the study and analysis of handwriting especially in relation to human psychology. Many neurological disorders like apraxia and chorea can affect handwriting. Many psychiatric disorders like Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, schizophrenia are also linked with handwriting change. A unique presentation of major depressive disorder manifesting as chief complain of handwriting change was observed in a girl who had nice handwriting before depression. In spite of constant efforts she was not able to revert back to her original handwriting. Her new handwritings were different from old one in form of width and height of letters, organization and overall presentation. She was prescribed antidepressants. Depressive symptoms were relieved and her handwriting started gradually improving considerably though previous level had not been achieved. Analysis of handwriting as a tool to understand the emotional state of person can be implicated during psychiatric assessment. The written off science of graphology needs to be made specific and sensitive so that it could provide more accurate results. Further research in this area is warranted.

Abstract: This paper aims to scan a handwritten statement sample in the form of an image then uses the neural network to identify the graphological and statement analysis marker s that can give an insight into the psyche of the person who wrote the sample. It is a tried and tested fact that at least 70% of the communication that we engage in is nonverbal in nature. It is from this fact that the sciences of Micro-expression reading, body language analysis etc originated. A similar pattern is observed in the the linguistics of the choice of words of a person and his handwriting. Graphology (Handwriting Analysis) and Statement Analysis can also be a tool to gain an insight in to the psyche of the person. For example if a person uses the word never as a substitute for no in a yes or no there is a high probability of a suspicion of deception in the context. Similar techniques are used by experts of Neuro Linguistic programming worldwide for a variety of applications. They are used to interrogate criminals and hasten the process of investigation. They can act as human lie detectors. From a written statement they can highlight the possible statement that need cross-verification as they can spot graphological and statement analysis markers in them. But such people are few in number and it takes years and years of training to be at that skill level. Hence a software (Matlab application) is then programmed to replicate this behaviour.
