••
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used InSAR time-series analysis of ALOS data to resolve land subsidence in the entire central Mexico region, including 17 cities, and found that groundwater extraction mainly for agricultural and urban activities is the main cause of land subsiding.
415 citations
••
TL;DR: In this article, the authors showed a clear correlation between land subsidence and piezometric drawdown and showed that for 1 m3 of groundwater pumped out in Bangkok Plain, approximately 0.10 m3 ground loss occurred at the surface.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a method for estimating the distance to return of the cover pressure and the stress distribution in the goaf of flat-lying longwall panels where the caving is bulking controlled.
