Abstract: In this paper, a novel coplanar waveguide (CPW) fed truncated octahedron shaped antenna is proposed, which operates over the triple RFID bands of 858 MHz-930 MHz, 2.4–2.454 GHz, and 5.725 GHz-5.875 GHz at UHF, Microwave and SHF frequency bands in addition to the LTE-700 MHz, LTE-800 MHz, GSM 850 MHz, GSM 900 MHz, TV broadcasting, and 5G bands of the electromagnetic spectrum. The antenna is experimentally verified for its radiation characteristics, UHF RFID detection, and GSM 900 MHz connectivity.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a multi-system communication mixing equipment of the third generation using a standard frame of 19 inches as the structure model and a standard joint with an N-K type is arranged in the panel as an input end or an output end of the signals and a SMA-K typed joint in the signal input end of each circuit as a monitoring port.
Abstract: The invention belongs to an area of a mobile communication technology, which is a multi-system communication mixing equipment of the third generation. The mixing equipment uses a standard frame of 19 inches as the structure model and a standard joint with an N-K type is arranged in the panel as an input end or an output end of the signals and a SMA-K typed joint is arranged in the signal input end of each circuit as a monitoring port. Besides, a power testing and a standing wave testing module is arranged inside which is used for testing the monitored signals and connecting to the outside in the end form of the Agreement RS-485 or the Agreement RS-232; a wireless modem is arranged inside to modulate the monitored signals; a plurality of mixer combinations are used inside to enable the mixing system to be a 10-12 circuit. The invention can mix tens of communication systems including mobile television 600 which includes a third generation WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, TETRA 800, CDMA 800, GSM 900 and WLAN2500. The invention can also provide the imitating, numbering and remote monitoring, The equipment has fixed structure, low consumption and good stability.

TL;DR: Simulation conditions and results for GPRS and EDGE networks are presented based on system level simulations with a dynamic simulator for the influence of the frequency reuse factor and the system load on the data throughput.
Abstract: This paper presents simulation conditions and results for GPRS and EDGE networks. These results are based on system level simulations with a dynamic simulator. The influence of the frequency reuse factor and the system load on the data throughput is evaluated. A homogeneous GSM 900 network is considered for these investigations.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a simple high-frequency power amplifier in which the GSM and the EDGE, whose gains are considerably different from each other, are incorporated, for reducing generation of noise.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple high-frequency power amplifier in which the GSM(global system for mobile communications) and the EDGE(enhanced data rates for GSM evolution), whose gains are considerably different from each other, are incorporated. SOLUTION: In the high frequency power amplifier of a multi-stage amplifier configuration that is used for a GSM mode or an EDGE mode through switching, a 1st stage amplifier consists of a dual-gated MOSFET, in the EDGE mode, an APC(automatic power control) signal or a selected and fixed level is applied to a 1st gate electrode of the dual-gated MOSFET, a fixed level or the APC signal is applied as a Vgs (Vgs1, Vgs2, Vgs3) of each TR from the 1st stage to the 3rd stage, so as to match the gain in the EDGE mode with a gain in the GSM mode so, for reducing generation of noise.

TL;DR: It can be observed that the impedance bandwidth of the proposed antenna covers the operated bandwidths of the commercial wireless communication systems, such as GSM 900, DCS, IMT-2000, UMTS, WLAN, LTE 2300, and LTE 2500.
Abstract: In this work, a new coplanar-waveguide (CPW)-fed monopole antenna with dual-band operation is proposed. The antenna is composed of a meandered monopole, an extended conductor line, and asymmetrical ground planes. Tuning geometrical structure of the ground plane of the CPW feeding structure excites additional resonant frequency bands, and thus enhances the impedance bandwidth. The measured impedance bandwidths, which is defined by −6 dB reflection coefficient, are 186 MHz (863 – 1049 MHz, 19.4%) at the lower resonant mode and 1320 MHz (1490 – 2810 MHz, 61.3%) at the upper mode. It can be observed that the impedance bandwidth of the proposed antenna covers the operated bandwidths of the commercial wireless communication systems, such as GSM 900, DCS, IMT-2000, UMTS, WLAN, LTE 2300, and LTE 2500.
