Abstract: A method includes identifying, at a processor, a set of communication lines from a plurality of communication lines, the set of communication lines including a first communication line and a second communication line. A first crosstalk characteristic of the first communication line is correlated with a second crosstalk characteristic of the second communication line. The method also includes modifying, at the processor, a first signal corresponding to the first communication line based on a second signal corresponding to the second communication line.

TL;DR: In this paper, the analysis of transmission data rates close to gigabit per second on different types of communication cables is presented, and the theoretic transmission capacity of the classical telecommunication copper-wire cable with a diameter of 0.4 mm, the flame-resistant communication copper-wired cable with diameter of 1.8 mm and the signaling copper wire with aiameter of 1 mm is calculated and evaluated.
Abstract: Optical fibers or twisted pairs are used for fixed communication in telecommunications, local area networks and industry networks. The combined network architecture with twisted pairs and optical fibers, called Fiber to the somewhere (FTTx) is becoming more popular. For twisted pairs section, the classical Digital subscriber line (xDSL) or the Gigabit digital subscriber line should be used according to the new standard G.fast. This paper describes the analysis of transmission data rates close to gigabit per second on different types of communication cables. Model of transmission lines and their parameters are presented. The theoretic transmission capacity of the classical telecommunication copper-wire cable with a diameter of 0.4 mm, the flame-resistant communication copper-wire cable with a diameter of 0.8 mm and the signaling copper-wire cable with a diameter of 1 mm is calculated and evaluated.

Abstract: The present application provides an SHDSL (Single-pair High bit rate Digital Subscriber Line) data frame processing method and device. The method comprises: calling a drive layer in an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) through an application layer in the FPGA, using the drive layer to execute initialization configuration of an SHDSL dedicated chip, and obtaining, after the configuration is successful, a status signal that indicates the configuration is successful; and starting conversion between an original data frame and a PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) code frame according to the status signal of the FPGA, and sending the converted PCM code to the SHDSL dedicated chip to generate a SHDSL data frame. Therefore, the SHDSL (Single-pair High bit rate Digital Subscriber Line) data frame processing method and device solve the problems in the prior art that the rate of the conversion between the original data frame and the PCM code frame is low, and that an SHDSL-related module is large in size and causes high difficulty in management and maintenance of software and hardware.
