TL;DR: In this paper, a simple contact preparation method for high-T/c copper-oxide materials (Y-Ba-Cu-O) was proposed based on high-temperature metallization.
Abstract: One of the important problems for electrical applications of high-temperature superconductors is the contact resistance between the superconductor and a normal metallic wire. In this paper, the authors report a simple method of contact preparation for high-T//c copper-oxide materials (Y-Ba-Cu-O). Based on high-temperature metallization, it reduces the contact resistance from typically 1 OMEGA mm** minus **2 down to APP 1STH 10 mu OMEGA mm** minus **2 (77 K), and makes it possible to measure the critical current of a bulk sample, with current densities in the contact area in excess of 2000 A cm** minus **2.

TL;DR: In this article, specific heat measurements on La2CuO4, La2−xMxCuO 4 (M = Ca, Sr, and Ba), YBa2Cu3O7, and the Bi-CaSr-Cu-O and Tl-Ca-Ba-cu-O systems are presented.
Abstract: We review the specific heat measurements on La2CuO4, La2−xMxCuO4 (M = Ca, Sr, and Ba), YBa2Cu3O7, and the Bi-Ca-Sr-Cu-O and Tl-Ca-Ba-Cu-O systems. Tables of properties derived from the data are presented. Results on RBa2Cu3O7 (R=rare earth elements other than Y) are summarized, as are results on YBa2(Cu3−xMx)O7 (M=Zn, Cr, Fe, or Ni). The difficulties of analyzing the specific heat data, and specifically the separation of the contributions associated with magnetic impurities, are discussed. It is tentatively concluded that the data nearT
c
are consistent with BCS theory, although they show evidence of fluctuation effects. It is also concluded that the low-temperature zero-field data on a majority of the high-T
c
oxide superconductors provide evidence of anintrinsic term that is proportional toT, a result that is inconsistent with a gap in the electronic density of states.

TL;DR: In this article, screen printing was used for the preparation of superconducting films having transition temperatures higher than the boiling point of liquid nitrogen, and a Yb-Ba-Cu-O film was prepared on yttria stabilized zirconia (YSZ) substrate.
Abstract: Screen printing was proved to be a promising method for the preparation of superconducting films having transition temperatures higher than the boiling point of liquid nitrogen. The film properties were highly sensitive to the substrate material. A Yb-Ba-Cu-O film prepared on yttria stabilized zirconia (YSZ) substrate has Tc onset and zero resistivity temperatures of 99.1 K and 77.2 K, respectively.
