Abstract: A honing tool for working cylindrical workpiece bores contains a tool body having longitudinal grooves in its outside. The bottom of the longitudinal grooves is inclined slightly with respect to the longitudinal direction of the tool. The honing strips bear with the full face of their rear side on the bottom of the grooves. A relative displacement between the grooves and honing strips in the longitudinal direction of the tool leads to a very finely controllable opening or adjustment of the honing strips outwards.

Abstract: The invention provides an extrusion-honing clamp for a drill point. The extrusion-honing clamp comprises a drill point which is to be subjected with extrusion honing, an upper transition plate, a lower transition plate, an abrasive runner plate, an abrasive runner upper cover plate, abrasive runner side surface cover plates, a flat work piece clamp and a work piece clamping V-shaped groove, wherein the abrasive runner plate is fixedly arranged on the lower transition plate; the abrasive runner upper cover plate is fixedly arranged on the abrasive runner plate; the abrasive runner side surface cover plates are fixedly arranged at the two sides of the abrasive runner plate and the abrasive runner upper cover plate; the upper transition plate is used for covering the abrasive runner upper cover plate and the abrasive runner side surface cover plates; the drill point which is to be subjected with extrusion honing is clamped in a groove between the work piece clamping V-shaped groove and the flat work piece clamp. An abrasive fluid medium in a through hole is repeatedly extruded by upper and lower pistons of a honing machine so that the abrasive fluid medium can be fully processed in a flowing manner on the surface of a needle head. The extrusion-honing clamp disclosed by the invention has the advantages of realizing noncontact loading of a drill in honing, realizing damage-free honing of the drill, improving the surface quality of the drill and also obviously increasing the amount of clamped cutters to 50.

Abstract: The dynamics of deep hole honing is considered. The mathematical model of the process including the dynamic model of the tool and the interaction of the workpiece surface and honing sticks is analyzed. The honing tool is modeled as a continuous slender beam with a honing mandrel attached at the intermediate cross section. A single row of stones tool rotates and has reciprocational motion in the axial direction. The honing stones are expanded to the machined surface by a special rigid mechanism that provides cutting of workpiece cylindrical surface. The removal of chip and the tool vibrations cause the variation of expansion pressure and depend on the surface state formed by previous honing stone. The equations of new surface formation are separated as a specific set of the dynamic model. These equations inherently consider the regenerative effect of oscillations during machining. The numerical algorithm of machined surface generation has been developed which facilitates the 3D graphical representation and evaluation of the topography of the generated surface. The simulation model accounts for not only the nominal tool motion but also takes into account errors during machining such as tool components deformations and vibrations, tool runout, as well as initial surface distortions produced by previous operation. Based on the surface formation model software for evaluation of typical surface quality and accuracy criteria such as eccentricity, out-of-round, conicity, barrel, axial waviness, misalignment, faceting has been developed. The expansion pressure, tool stiffness, and technology conditions are considered as varying parameters since their influence on the process are different. The process productivity and accuracy can be improved by choosing rational conditions evaluated by simulation. The corresponding models and results of numerical simulation are presented. All the results are given in dimensionless form and therefore they are applicable to a wide range of real manufacturing process conditions. The model of new surface formation presented allows the simulation of the machined surface topography variation in time and to predict workpiece accuracy and possible correction of surface errors.Copyright © 2004 by ASME

The utility model provides a poor roundness that comes of honing frock band gap, the stability of the honing spot facing work is improved. And former be fixed frock, the distance between its pressure disk and base is fixed, so that frock in the past self manufacturing accuracy requires is very high, improve for adjustable afterwards, can reduce the manufacturing accuracy of frock and then reducible cost.

The method for manufacturing the precise inner hole honing tube comprises the following steps of heating, wherein a tube blank is heated in an annular furnace; hole punching, wherein hole punching is carried out on a heat tube blank through a puncher; annealing, the tube blank is annealed; cold rolling, the annealed tube blank is introduced into a tube mill, cold rolling is carried out on the annealed tube blank, and a rolled tube is obtained; stress relief annealing, wherein the rolled tube is introduced into a heating furnace to be heated, and the annealed tube blank is obtained; acid pickling treatment, wherein acid pickling is carried out on the annealed tube blank, and surface rust scales are removed; parkerizing, wherein a zinc phosphate chemical generation covering film is formed on the surface of the tube blank; saponification treatment, lubrication covering films like metallic soap are formed on the covering film; cold drawing, cold drawing machining is carried out on the tube blank to be cold drawn, and the cold-drawn tube is obtained; heat treatment, the heat treatment technology in which tempering is carried out after quenching is adopted, and the residual stress of the cold-drawn tube is reduced; honing, wherein a numerical-control honing machine is adopted to carry out honing; heat straightening processing; wherein a high-precision cold-drawn steel tube is obtained. According to the method, the precise inner hole honing tube which is high in yield strength, precise in size and smooth in surface is obtained.
